Old El Paso Mild Green Chile Enchilada Sauce, Meal Prep, 10 oz

Love using this green chili sauce for chicken enchiladas. I simply heat a can of enchilada sauce and mix in one fourth cup of sour cream and pour over six enchiladas before baking at 375 for 15 minutes.

I love enchiladas and the White Creamy Enchiladas recipe is my favorite. I use about 1/2 can with a flour roux and cream cheese and pour it over my chicken and cheese filled tortillas. So delicious! The recipe calls for diced chili peppers but that makes it too spicy for me. I just open the can and pour in half, no dicing needed! And it gives them the right amount of spice for me.

The taste of the mild sauce goes well with the enchiladas I make. I have tried other sauces, both baught and homemade, but always come back to this one. Its mild but enough spice to give a food flavor.

My family loves this sauce. The only issue is the price. It is hard to find the large can but the smaller can is usually available. The price has doubled since I first starting buying this.

Wanted mild and it was perfect. To make. My perfect sauce I added a can of cream of mushroom soup and a can of chopped Hatch green chile

These are my absolute favorite thing to buy!!! Soooo good deffently warm in the oven I use the air fry, ugh so good

This is a great sauce for doing enchiladas. Taste good and it’s not too spicy. Really highly recommend.

The Enchilada sauce is usually pretty tasty but- this last delivery I received a VERY dented can that I will not be able to use. Not sure if this is a Walmart problem or if the can arrived that way from Old El Paso.

I usually buy my enchilada sauce from aldi which is so delicious. Usually Old El Paso products are a hit and good. However, this enchilada sauce is yuck...sour, processed taste, preservative taste, etc. It's like heavy yet watery and tasteless. I expect better from this brand. I only spooned a little bit on my food.

I disliked that received one of the cans that was very damaged. It looked like the can was runned over.
