HERDEZ Salsa Verde Mild, Shelf Stable, 7 oz Steel Can

We often find that stores are out of the Herdez Salsa Verde Mild in the jars, so I gave these cans a try. We saved and washed the last jar that we had and refilled it with the canned salsa. The taste is the same! It seems a little more watery, but the flavor and mild heat are both there. The cans are also less expensive than the jar, so this is a good compromise when the jars are unavailable.

This is a mild verde sauce which I regularly use on our nachos and burritos. I used to buy the larger jar of this sauce but do not use it up fast enough at times to prevent molding so switched to these cans and they work well for me. I put the sauce in a small Pyrex bowl and then cover what's left and refrigerate. I have used this for a few years now and recommend,

We love this salsa. We can’t do any spice at all. This offers just that a nice added favor salsa without any kick! So delicious it’s our go to with almost anything and a must have for TACOS!

Not really hot or spicy but it's the level i like. Truthfully, I've been using it so long maybe i don't really pay that much attention. I actually use it for my simple cooking of my made up sorta Mexican dishes like chilaquiles, enchiladas, etc. A Mexican cook may be horrified, but I'm a lazy cook. I also add it to top off fried eggs, over sour cream on enchiladas, etc. I have two or three cans in my pantry at all times along with the Herdez salsa casera. The small cans are perfect for a family of one or two.

Excellent green salsa. Not really spicy, just a touch, which is great for wimps like me. But the flavor is good. The small can is nice for singles to have fresh on hand and great price.

Great flavor at a great price! I love Herdez products. They have tasty healthy ingredients. Perfect for my tortilla chip snack or enchiladas. The texture hits just right. Definitely made with love!

Love this stuff. It has a great flavor without being too spicy hot. I do not like the spicy hot foods. I like this more than any red salsa. It has many uses, other than just being a salsa for chips. Try it. Hope you like as well.

This salsa has the perfect balance of flavor and mild heat. I enjoy blending it with sour cream to make a creamy salsa dip or topping for tacos and enchiladas. Delicious!

This is Herdez not an American company knock off. Not to affect sales but two cans of this in your own jar is better and more cost effective than even their green salsa. Made in the traditional Mexican way by a Hispanic company that still cares.

Delivery items dented and unsafe to eat (extends to the bottom seam). Walmart will only refund me if I take them back to the store, which completely takes away from the convenience of delivery. Cancelling Walmart and will shop some where else.
