Tuna is so versatile. But this is a great product price is getting higher but everything is going up. I like my tuna with eggs onion mayo mustard just a little mustard salt pepper. on bread on the side nacho pickled peppers and red or green grapes is so good. Now my 10 year old grandson is eating it like this.

Preferred packed in oil for almost 60 years because to my taste buds, full delicious taste over "water washed" canned tuna. But modern consumer trends have made it almost impossible to find in my ghetto Walmart, so was thrilled to find it on the app and merely add it to my home delivery order. So nice not having to leave home, plus get strapped just to grocery shop at closest dysfunctional Walmart store.

I know tuna in water is better for you but I like oil flavor. So I guess you have to make up your own mind. Tasty. Omega oils. Love tuna patties and sandwiches.

starkist tuna is the best tasting to me. i mix tuna in water with tuna in oil to achieve a better flavor.

I like this version better because it makes the tuna better, I pair it with Avocado Mayo, and back pepper and eat it with crackers.

I have found tuna in vegetable oil taste a lot richer and fresher than water packed. But find an oil packed tuna is fairly difficult these days especially if you want white albacore. That's a little pricey so I stick to the chunk light in the oil based because that makes the best comfort casserole or tuna salad sandwich anyway. So when I found that I could get all three major brands easily online I decided to order Starkist, Chicken of the Sea, and Bumblebee. And I find that in order of freshness and tuna flavor without any metallic or undertones whatsoever, Starkist came in second.

Maybe it's my taste buds, but I have switched to other brands like Chicken of the Sea or Great Value Tuna. The Tuna in water has a different taste and texture now. I used to "doctor it up", but I do not purchase this brand as often anymore.

Ridiculous amount of oil with very little of tuna. I was furious when I opened the can and what was supposed to be solid tuna was awash in oil. Waste of money. I'd have done well to buy Great Value Tuna.

This tuna used to have water in the can, but now it has soybean oil added. I think Star Kist made the change to make the tuna seem thicker in the can so they can sell you less. And now you can't press on the lid to squeeze the water out of the can anymore because it's so slippery from the soybean oil, it doesn't stay in the can and squrts out. Will not be buying this again.
