I was concerned at first when it appeared as just a boring, old rock but my grandsons loved the idea and concept. It was a stocking stuffer success. Be aware that it is extremely messy so pay attention to the age that it is given to. I would recommend this item!

Cute my son was a bit disappointed I think. Soaked it for 10 minutes and it practically fell apart as soon as he started digging. Would do this again but I would buy a larger one to keep him at it a while.

bought these for our son to do with his dad for his 3rd birthday. he absolutely loved it!!!! carries the dinosaurs around with him everywhere!!!! will definitely buy more.

This was really cute. My 3 year old grandson loved it and really enjoyed it. I would suggest soaking it prior to letting the kids know about it as that part took a while, but it was fun. Also, if the child is prone to putting things in their mouth still I would avoid this. The dino toy is small and I could definitely see being an issue.

My 12 yr old daughter thoroughly enjoyed digging out the dinosaur. She is a totally normal 12 yr old who loves playing on her phone, dancing, singing, playing sports and outside, but also loves dinosaurs. So I thought I'd try this, and I'm glad I did. She wants me to buy more so she can do more digging and collect all of the dinosaurs. Great purchase for any dinosaur lover who enjoys hands on activities!

These are our go-to for gifts for young boys and positive reinforcement prizes for our kids. They are cheap and so much fun for any kiddo who loves dinosaurs and digging into things. The instructions say to get the egg wet to make it easier, but we have found that it’s more enjoyable for our kiddos to keep it dry, and also is much easier cleaning up the dry dust than it is the wet muddy stuff if you wet the egg. Overall great product and price though!

I really enjoy watching my grandson open these eggs, they give him so much joy. He loves to anticipate what he is going to open. It is just too cute.

I gave it 3 stars because I bought 10/12 of these for a birthday party and 4 of them didn't have the little wooden stick inside, the kids were very disappointed and so was I! But it is a super cute little activity when all the pieces are there!

This thing was impossible to break down. At one point, a hammer was used aggressively, and it still didn't break down much, lol. We ultimately had to put it in a bucket of water and stab chunks away. Apparently, the shell is made of like chalk and clay, so do not put it in a sink or tub. Ultimately, it wasn't an ideal toy/activity for my 6 year old boy.

I would not be able to rate this product because I ordered this and I received the dragons instead. I did not have time to look at it and just put it in my kids stocking from S. When they unwrapped it that's when I saw it was the wrong item and could not return it.
