The Wilton Edible Gel Food Coloring Set has been a great addition to my baking supplies. The colors are vibrant, and a little goes a long way, making it easy to create bright, colorful frosting, icing, and other treats. The gel consistency blends smoothly without making the mixture too runny. I also like having several colors in one set, since it gives me plenty of options for different baking projects. Overall, this is a convenient, high-quality set that works well and is definitely worth buying.

I was shocked to learn how vibrant and easy to cleanup this coloring worked! I’m pretty messy so I placed an old towel down before mixing and decorating cookies. My hands washed right up… no stains on my fingernails! Even the towel I used was full of coloring gel… one hot rinse and not a single mark. My cookies were a hit too!

I've been using this set for my recent cake decorating and baking, and the results are fantastic. The colors are incredibly vibrant and concentrated, so a little goes a long way in achieving the perfect shade without thinning out my frosting or batter.

These are amazing!! This little package is a good starter set to get you used to the gel/paste colorings, but it's not going to last too long... That said, 1 color (red - which takes a fair bit of color) has done well over 5 dozen cupcakes and still has at least that much left to do again! :) Red is the hardest to get the color right - seems to take more than the other colors - even the black takes very little! :) I LOVE them!!! Has made decorating Minecraft cupcakes and sprinkled cupcakes a breeze!! Our kids LOVE the brilliant colors! And so do I!

This is a perfect starter set for those dabbling in cake decorating, or just beginning to learn. I love that black was included, as that is the one color I always have a hard time obtaining when it comes to things like this. It works great, takes very little to get the desired color.

I love these colors they make the icing of chocolate so bright in color. It doesn’t cause it to clump it’s just perfect. I just use a tiny drop and that’s enough for the icing. I will be buying more of this coloring. I love that it’s not watery also.

Wilson is always a home run. Colors are vivid, and a little goes a LONG way. Start with a drop or two and add more in slowly, as needed, to achieve desired color. If you over do it, there is no going back. Happy baking!

I personally prefer food coloring that comes in tubes because they are less messy and don’t require inserting a toothpick to get the amount wanted constantly, good color variety

Although the title of this product gets your attention by stating it’s a GEL food colorant, it is NOT a gel based food coloring. It is water based and if you use this product to make the macaron cookie shell, you will be very disappointed with the results. Too much moisture! The title is a misleading representation of this product.
