This griddle is great for when the weather doesn't allow one to use a full-sized rolled-steel flat-top griddle outside. The cooking surface is great for up to 3-4 people, and the clean-up is about as easy as it can be - much easier than an outdoor griddle. The only drawback is that when cool or cold foods are placed on this griddle, the temperature of the griddle surface drops dramatically. I find myself bumping the temp up by 50^F or so when I'm about to place cold/frozen food on the surface, then adjusting back down as the temperature recovers. I believe that happens as the griddle is very thin, so heat comes and goes rather quickly. The grease cup has plenty of capacity to handle a big breakfast meal with bacon %26 sausauge for 8-10 people before having to clean it out. Another potential drawback is that if you have to place this on a counter with standard height cabinets above, you won't be able to open the lid all the way, so try to place in an area where there is clearance above, or just use without the lid, which comes off very easily. This is an easy to use electric griddle, and it's pretty easily transported in an RV or the back of a vehicle if going to a camping cabin.

This size griddle is perfect size for cooking big family breakfast. I could have bought the 17" . But I'm a dude so 22" was the one. Very nice product. Controls very simple. Easy clean up.

this black stone indoor electric grill is one of the best products I have ever used I use it now instead of using my stove it Cooks food quicker better and in the summertime doesn't heat up my kitchen I really love this product and the no stick Blackstone has on The Griddle is amazing

I bought this grill as I saw my brother in law cooking on his when camping. He cooked everything on his. Breakfast and supper. I am loving that this grill is electric. Nice that it comes with all the spatulas for cooking as well. Add on to what I bought. I can use this right in the house. No noticeable drop in temperature after adding foods, was plenty hot. Nice not to mess with propane tanks.

The grill keeps shutting off. No power outage in our area, no fuse blown. The grill shuts off in the middle of cooking.

having problems with the temperature

blackstone completely stopped working after 3 uses.called and tried to troubleshoot problem ,you can not speak to a human. customer is horrible. they offer you parts to replace .for the price and 3 uses its ridiculous and unfair!! unit should be returned and refunded!

So very disappointed. I bought 36 inch and 22 inch propane Blackstone griddles for sons, and they love them, so i had high expectations. Now i have this electric one that i used once and absolutely hate it and doubt i use again. I had to cook ground beef at 450 degrees, heat didn't seem to get to sides or middle. you can't use metal utensils. The surface is definitely non stick as everything slid around so easy i had trouble not pushing off the back over the sides of the griddle. Getting two electric skillets would have been a better option. Had i not used it, I would have returned to get a propane one, which is totally different, no comparison. it was a costly gamble.

We purchased the electric Blackstone to take camping. We have a gas Blackstone and love it! However the electric was terrible! It took a very long time to heat up and once it did heat up the minute you put food on it, it cooled off to a point where it took a very long time to cook. Also be aware that if you buy one you only have 30 days to return it even though it is purchased through Walmart.
