Blackstone Griddle Seasoning and Cast Iron Conditioner - 6.5 oz

this stuff is wonderful! unless your pan extremity bad you don't have to do it as many times as it says to in the directions. i scrubbed my cast iron pan out - hit it with sand paper and soft wire brush.- rinsed it and air dried it good. then i used a napkin to geese it up slow heated it for a while making sure to watch for dry spots. Just kept using a napkin to keep spreading it around, wiped it out and when i made sunny side up eggs they slipped right out of the pan.

Follow the directions. Easy to apply. I put 5 applications on the Blackstone and let it burn off completely each time. It took about 2 hours. First use was for fried rice, steamed broccoli, with beef and chicken. No stick whatsoever. Get you some!

I am a Blackstone newbie, so this was the first time using this product. I seasoned the griddle 4 times after assembly then once again after I grilled. Now, I just use regular oil after grillings to maintain the seasoning. I plan to use the conditioner after a few months and before storage for hte winter.

It definitely did what it says... I was able to season my grill with ease. However after looking at the ingredients I can find this cheaper somewhere else. With that said it definitely is a good season and my flat top turned out just like the instructions said it would.

Cast iron cook surfaces MUST be seasoned before cooking on them. Our Blackstone griddle had specific instructions to season. It took about an hour vs 3 hours doing my cast iron in the oven.

Upon receiving this griddle seasoning I wasn't sure how this product would hold up but I was pleasantly surprised.It has the consistency of room temperature butter and not an unpleasant smell of beeswax.I followed the manufacturers instructions and seasoned my cast iron pan 3 times.I expected the burn off to be really Smokey but it wasn't at all.I cooked beef burgers which did not stick to the pan at all and they tasted delicious with not noticeable flavor from the griddle seasoning.I wiped the skillet down with paper towels afterwards and it cleaned up beautifully I then added a little griddle seasoning onto a clean paper towel and wiped down the surface ready for next time.I think I would purchase this in future just for the fact that it doesn't smoke heavy when seasoning.

This product is very easy to use just follow instructions by using two tablespoons of seasoning on hot griddle plate. Make sure that you take your time using a sweeping motion while using heat resistant gloves and applying an even thin layer coat. First time using griddle, I suggest repeating steps at least 4x

No seal on container so some of the product leaked and attracted every ant in the neighborhood to my box. It sat outside for 3 hours before I got home from work and the box was covered in ants. Thankfully no ants got through the partially unscrewed cap but a seal or packaging could have been better

The lid was not secured with tape and after removing lid there was no paper over the top of the jar covering the product to give extra security to the product(Blackstone Seasoning) Also, the jar was only a little over half full. So not sure if it had been used.

Package was completely crushed when it arrived so the contents were spilled out everywhere. I was able to scrape a little bit out %26 season my Blackstone the first time. I might be able to season it again but I'm unsure. I have a medically removed drivers license so it's impossible for me to just jump on over to Walmart for a refund. As a cardholder they really need another system in place for instances such as these. Now I'm just out of the money %26 I only go to Walmart once every month which will put it past the return date the next time I go. I'm livid about this.
