ThermoPro TP920W 650FT Wireless Bluetooth Meat Thermometer with Dual Probes for Oven Grilling BBQ

I LOVE this thing! It was a life saver and a game changer! The app is great, the battery lasts long, i wish it had a magnet built into the back, but otherwise it's a very great thermometer! And the ease of use with the Walmart app and the speedy delivery, made sure my dinner was smoked to perfection.

Worked like the Academy brand it replaced. I noticed two differences. First the unit was 20% larger in size with very easy to read liquid crystals. Most important there was no receiver unit. Instead it "paired" with your smartphone. I am handicapped operating this kind of phone software, yet I had the the system operating in less than 5 min by snapping a smartphone/"pic" of the QR code. It seemed load itself after this action. The "App" was easy to read and navigate; not to mention, the signal reached across the back yard into the house. One more fact, it used the same 6" probes all ready installed through the walls of my smoker

I see alot of reviews saying they have over cooked the food and well I did the same mistake. You must use one of the probe for ambient at the grates and the other on whatever your cooking. If you rely on your grills temp gauge the dome will be around 50° lower which in reality it will be 50° higher at the cooking surface.

works great. smoked 2 ducks at same time to perfection while doing yard work. outside screen is easy to read. sending temps to cell phone worked great. beware ... sometimes it will indicate temp is too high for a few minites before starting to register temp.

Great for long cooks. I appreciated insert so that you can also monitor the grill temperature from your phone. It worked perfectly for my 19 hr smoked brisket! My husband was super impressed and it was my first try. I definitely couldn't have done it without this thermometer.

Wors great, but 650 ft is a little too generous. If separated by doors or walls, you would be lucky to get 100 feet. but accuracy and easy reading at the control box is spot on. For chicken and turkey, one probe in the larger breast and one in the larger thigh. Works great.

It works really good and very easy to set up. My only issue is that I bought this so I could monitor the meat while cooking inside the air fryer but the probe is way too big to use in an air fryer. Other than that one issue it's great and I love the app.

Does not give an accurate temperature. 1 probe will say something is done when it's still raw while the other probe reads closer to temperature. The device doesn't reach far either, so you'll want to stay close to the grill to monitor if you use this. I returned this item.

It failed on the first cook, even using foil to insulate the probe wire on a low and slow cook much lower than the rated temperature. The probe wire melted and it won't read anymore - lasted about 6 hours. I'm pretty sure I'm still in the return window.
