26" Kent Bicycle Avalon Comfort Men's Bike with Full Suspension, Adult Ages 13+, Black

I bought this for shopping/riding to places in my neighborhood. I have been enjoying my rides so far. It has been just two weeks since I bought it, but still gave it a 5 star rating based on my experience so far. Will update my comments if something turns out in next weeks.

I wanted a cruiser bicycle for and older person (myself) that was light, easy to pedal, gears shifted easily and they even put it together for me when I order it online for store pickup. It's not a bike from the expert or high level riders, but it's help me lose ten pound over the last two weeks and is a joy to rid. Didn't care for the standard seat and plan to purchase one with a little more padding. Had to raise the seat and handlebars as I'm about 6' and it wasn't set up for me. But, for the price it's great. My son loves it cause he can buy me trinkets to fit on it for birthdays, Father's day etc. Great value, great price and great service.

I am 65 years old and recently took up biking again. I checked the reviews and felt that the Kent Avilon would be a good choice for my needs. I was right. The bike is very comfortable and versatile. The 7 speeds are just enough for my needs. It is very good looking and I get compliments whenever I ride it. Assembly was relatively easy and packaging was excellent. The stock seat is OK, but I decided to replace it with a more comfortable Cloud 9 seat. All in all I am very happy with the purchase.

Shipped to us in 2 days, only partially assembled. We bought the men's, and women's, and in a short amount of time we had them put together, tires aired up and were riding them. We ride about 9 miles 5-6 times a week. The bikes are a joy to ride easy to handle, nice smooth ride. It's a win win deal, great price, fast shipping, very easy assembly, for awesome bikes.

Watch Front Fork Orientation! Lucky I read the first review before returning the bike for refund due to the fact that it's possible to assemble the bottom of the front fork/steering assembly backwards (which makes you "kick" the front tire every time you turn more than a little bit). Anyhow, will be taking this back apart and re-assembling it correctly now. The 7-gear ratios are fine for relatively flat surfaces, but with the tiny hills around my neighborhood, there's no way to gain any speed going down a hill, and it's very difficult to pedal up a less-than-medium incline, so may not be for "older" riders as described. Would rather have 16 speeds, but the quality for price is too good to pass up, so I'll be keeping the Kent and also keeping my old Schwinn and getting new tires for rides up %26 down the bigger hills, once my legs are in better shape.

I bought about 5 kinds of 150 to 200 dollar bikes from wal mart. All disasters and fell to pieces within 10 miles I was very greatfull for the return plan they offer. looked at other stores bikes and they were made from the same stuff so I decided to by a super cheap bike and just fix and modify it as I go, haven't had to fix it yet!

Chose this bicycle after doing research, reading reviews, etc. Purchased online, overnight to my local Walmart, I was amazed that it had arrived so soon. Very good bike for the price, however could have had better adjustment (it was assembled at no extra cost, a nice extra) on the brakes and gear shift. A little more online research and I soon had everything in tune, a bit of learning involved, but it's worth knowing how to do it yourself. Overall a great bicycle.

The first thing to remember is that this is a very cheap bike. It has an aluminum frame, severn gears and suspension front and rear. Seat and handlebars are variable, the seat being of the quick release type, a specification you would expect on a more expensive bike. I have been using it for several weeks now and only had one minor fault. Walmart gave me a brand new bike rather than wait for a new part to arrive, fantastic service. OK the finish on some of the items looks cheap and may not last as long but as I said this is a very cheap bike, but good value for money.

Don't expect to take this bike anywhere other than around town. It has only one set of gears, decent shocks and bottom of the line shimano shifters. However, for the price and only around town it is not a bad deal also don't expect to stand up and pedal unless you are under 150lbs. The bike came with a broken spoke which was unfortunate but expected and can easily be fixed. So bottom of the line it's a good bike for the money but you cannot be in the least bit be aggressive with this guy.

Bike came bent in the box. I had to reassemble twice because the body was bent and I couldn't pedal the bike. And the second time the handle bars became loose while riding. Don't buy this.
