These sre the greatest thing since sliced bread!!! They save my back and knees, I have a lot of arthritis and bending down to pick up items can be difficult, these are a true life saver, nest purchase!
Helps with lots of thing for elderly that can’t reach things but also aren’t able to climb ladders anymore. Also enjoyable to let children use while on walks to grab any trash they find and want to pick up or just anything they want to explore while using the grabber. Pretty cool having a magnet on it as well.
Yes, I have been using this specific design for several years, it works well. I use mine a few to many time each day, as I’m nearly bedridden and have the things I need close at hand but not within arms reach. This makes them accessible. There is one drawback though, where the cable attaches to the end of the trigger lever. I’ve had a couple break, snap clean off, at this point from a strong trigger grasp of a heavy object, like a 28-32oz food jar. It’s the weakest point of the whole unit. But, if you don’t over exert it, it will last many months. All-in-all, these are the better ones of the economically priced grabbers. That’s why I buy these and not others. I recommend these, as a person that uses them daily.
I’m old. I admit it. Sometimes things would land on the floor and they stayed there. Why? I couldn’t bend down to pick it up without the force of my belly folding upon itself and emitting noxious gas. Yes, I scare the dog when I bend over. This is highly embarrassing. So I bought myself these two grabbers. I have one in my living room and one in my bedroom. Strong construction. It folds up and can be stored everywhere. Perfect length from the floor to my arm. My floors are clean and no more bending over and frightening the dog!
I can pick up a dropped pill on linoleum floor or pull up pants after using restroom. It takes minimal concentration when collapsing down to fit inside your walker seat but you definitely need to watch so the inner cable fits inside a notched part of one of the halves. It's handy to have and there'll be times you're glad to have it.
I owned a medical reacher that worked (just) fine but it did not fold. This reacher easily folds in half (even with arthritic hands) and the length is perfect. I'm now able to grap a glass from the cabinet and not fear that I'll drop it. What I am truly amazed by is the ability to pick up a tiny pill (baby aspirin size) with this reacher.
I couldn't exist without this grabber! I am a 69 year old amputee and I like to be as independant and self sufficient as I can. This tool helps me do that. It helps me pick up my groceries that are delivered to my front door, as well as reaching items that I couldn't normally reach anyway. It really comes in handy! I keep one in my bedroom, my bathroom, my laundry room, and even my pantry! It works great!
Highly recommend this reaching tool. Good Construction good rubber tips on the grabber and the handle doesn't crack like some of the other ones. I have five of these because I'm disabled and can't bend over and they are lifesavers. They pick up big things like clothing and can get small things like a pill that's been dropped. I use them for everything.
I would recommend this to people who do not expect it to be very long. I would not recommend this otherwise. I was disappointed as I needed something longer to reach up into closets etc. It does work with just a couple of feet to the floor or sitting down and something close. The overall idea was good just not what I needed.
I gave negative feedback about delivery yesterday, couldn't find my order 200013623988792 marked as Delivered; FEDX Driver didn't follow Delivery Instructions plus bad photo of delivery location: therefore I couldn't find my order. I'm 81yo with very limited mobility, even if I had seen the package I couldn't have brought it in to my house. Can WalMart require or Encourage FEDX to READ %26 FOLLOW Delivery instructions ?
