I had a hip replacement surgery. I cannot bend to put my socks on for the initial recovery period. I use this little device to put on my sock on the side of the surgery. It WORKS !! and it is really easy to use! 6 Stars if they had that rating.

May sock things are great. They are easy to use. And they are a must. If you want to wear socks and are old like me. Without it, I just sweat in my shoes Good for Arthritis in your back being overweight. Bending down far enough to reach your feet. this thing is just great.

I wish I knew about these months ago! It looks a little weird, but let me tell you what... It made getting my socks on a lot easier. Thank God for whomever invented this! I needed/had a full right hip replacement and this came in very handy. Worth every penny. And it was not expensive at all in my opinion.

works great, I love it. at first it seems a little too large, but after a few uses, it's just what I wanted. If you are a smaller foot person, I would say that you might want a little smaller unit. But I love it. Dan

The same day I received this item and tried it I was so happy and I also told other women my age how well it work with helping put your socks on. I also used it to put on my pantyhose. It was simple to use, not bad price and I was well pleased.

I have been using an identical one for maybe 2 years now? Think the description of this might have said not for compression socks-- mine are not medical prescription/ medical apparatus supply store extra strong compression socks. But they are mail order (Walmart.com) athletic grade compression to reduce water retention. Plus, I also wear compression Knee sleeves for arthritis %26 a bone spur problem. Having the compress on lower leg with the knee prevents a strangle ring blow the knee sleeve. But point is, I have been using one of these to help me get those knee high compression socks on just fine. A little bit of a struggle to get the snug compression sock "loaded" onto this. But it's far easier than struggling with the socks alone while bent over touching my toes. ( I'm old, fat %26 not very flexible these days!) Soo much easier to slide my foot into this contraption! My slightly younger brother has developed diabetes %26 leg edema. He was told he ought to try some of the OTC compression socks %26 complained to me " they are such a pain to get on!" So zi didnt just recommend one of these, I've ordered this one to gift him. WHOLE new meaning to "stocking stuffer"!!! Maybe the most useful one to be hsd as well! 😉😘

My 8 year old has only one hand and has difficulty putting on his socks because of it. This device lets him do it by himself, which is a win, win! It works well, he can pull it just fine by wrapping the one cord around his wrist and it helps put his socks on perfectly every time.

This product is easy to use. I have only had this item a very short time. I am disappointed in the quality as the foam pad that helps in holding the sock in place properly, is already peeling off the main body. The foam pad is of low quality and is easy to see why it will not hold up. I would recommend that the manufacture make improvement in this area of the sock aid. If you only use it for a month or less then you may be fine with it, however for long term daily use I would recommend trying a different one. I would not purchase this particular aid again.

I would recommend the seller make note that this device, although it seems to be made well, is designed for tiny, narrow feet. It doesn't accommodate a size 12 EEE foot.
