At my tallest I was only 5'2" tall! Now at age 80, I am only 4'8" %26 I can barely reach the middle shelf of my kitchen cabinets. So I keep one of these Grabbers in the kitchen hanging on a hook right under the light switch. The other is in walk in pantry that have shelves that go as 8" from the ceiling. On that highest shelf I keep seasonal items, like tree shaped baking pan, assorted sizes of Cheesecake pans, etc. I am lucky that I have a son-in-law and grandson who are both 6'4", so I try to think in advance so when they stop by, they can just something down that I need. However, they both travel for their jobs, so if they are not in town, I use the Grabber! It works well and I have them all over the house. I have one in the garage, in the pantry,, Kitchen and one in each of the 4 bedrooms! Some of them are well over 10 years old and they still work perfectly! You won't be disappointed if you purchase this product!

Fantastic, I had a previous reacher/grabbber and I loved it! I lost it and ordered these and now I don't know how I did without them ! These are longer and reach farther kudos for me!

Now I bought one of these for my mother like 5 years ago. Only reason I had to buy another was because one of the dogs decided to eat a piece on it. The magnet needs to be glued in. It does come out easily. That's the only down fall. They last. The price is great.

With 6 acres of twigs to pick up, I wanted a sturdy tool that would prevent my poor old knees from having to bend every time I encountered a twig. This one grabs hard and lifts well. I really like it.

these are one of the best built grabber sticks that I have used. I was frustrated trying to pick up a flat piece of paper with them but then I learned if I take my two feet and squeeze the paper up into a hump it is super simple to pick up at that point. they are strong and durable and have a nice magnetic tip on them as well if you need to pick up something small and metallic. I suffer from very extreme back pain and this was the key to keep me from having to bend over.

While this reacher is not for heavy projects, it is amazing the small objects that I can pick up off the floor. It has been very 'dexterous' at picking up flat single sheets of paper, pens & pencils, plus retrieving the newspaper off the porch, and the like. The extra length is handy because with osteo-hips bending is very difficult for me. For what this reacher is and at the price, I am happy!

it's a little bit too long and I actually returned it about a week ago and I haven't heard anything about it I was supposed to get another one that was only 24 in Long, which was really what I originally wanted but somehow it ordered the

Does what it is supposed to do: grab. Easy trigger action. But not the strongest grab from the pincer. If I were to buy another grabber, I would probably get one with a double-grip, instead of the one pincer. Also, never found reason to use the magnet. The grip would only really hold the lightest of things, like socks.
