Equate Loperamide Tablets for Diarrhea, 2 mg, 24 Count

This worked just as well as the popular, brand name product. However, the packaging is a mystery to me. Why can't this be sold in a bottle like acetaminophen ? I had to use scissors to get to the actual pills. If you're in need of this product, you don't have a lot of time to spend just getting to the pills! Next time, I'll see if I can get my hands on a jackhammer!

Like most people, if you have this issue, you get Imodium. But this Equate product has the same active ingredient, and the same percentage of it. It works quickly and well, and phas no odor nor aftertaste. Why spend all those extra dollars when you can get the same results with Equate? I'm very impressed with this product, and would definitely recommend it.

I have been taking these 2x/day for over a year b/c of my NAFLD. They are just as good as the name-brand and other pharmacy generics, and a LOT cheaper. The only complaint is the packaging of the pill; you have to take scrape you nail across the white seal to get to the push-out seal.

Nobody purchases this product because life is going especially well. During a time of unexpected urgency, these tablets stepped up and handled their responsibilities with quiet professionalism. Five stars for helping restore order and dignity.

Comes in sealed blister pack. When you have diarrhea you don't want to fight with the packaging. Also tabs are soft so crushed two out of 24 fighting to get out of blister. How about a sealed bottle? Can't be more mfg cost than all that blister material.

Getting those tiny little pills out of the excessive foil/plastic packaging is crazy difficult. One Must use a pair of scissors and even this requires a great deal of concentration and high skills to release the 2 pill dosage recommended. It's frightfully maddening. I strongly believe that senior citizens would have great troubles navigating this rediculus exercise of simply try to obtain some relief from diarrhea.

It works just fine if you are able to get into the packaging to the medication! You have to be a criminal Mastermind to get them out of the packaging! By the time you do, hopefully it won't be too late! My advice...buy a pair of scissors too! It's the only way to get to the tablets if you don't end up crushing them in the process. Not very convenient, especially in times when you need these.

Absolute nightmare to open. Each tablet is individually wrapped in a blister pack which REQUIRES scissors to open, and you have to cut in a very specific spot. You can't peel the paper off, there's no notch to tear the plastic from. Hope you have sharp scissors that cut perfectly at the very tip. Yeah, it's very cheap, but it is not worth having to break out a tool every single time I need to take one of these. Will not buy again. I'm going to sit down and cut open every caplet and move them into a different bottle. Equate – Walmart – why?

Followed instructions to the letter, it has not provided relief as Imodium has in the past. I should have followed my first instinct and just purchased the name brand product instead of attempting to save money.
