Good for relief of stomach issues caused by dairy. Not a cure all, but does ease the symptoms.

Okay the secret is after your first bite of the dairy item you need to take 3 of these. You will not experience any discomfort from enjoying that dairy product at all. Gone are the days where I had to rush home after a meal to avoid the poor social side effects of ingesting dairy. The trick is 3 and at this price point buy multiple bottles to have in your bag or at work or school.

I'm thankful there's help for cheese lovers like me!! I usually take the lowest amount of any meds/supplements. It's worked for me for years…but, as I've entered my 60's, I need the full dose-> 3 tablets right as you start eating your dairy items, it's very important!! If you forget %26 take it later in your meal it may not work as well as when you take it right as you begin eating your dairy product. . It saves me from terrible cramps %26 messed up digestion…you know what I'm hinting about ~ remember every body is different, talk to your doctor before starting a new supplement %26 I hope my experience helps you!!

OK these are just perfect, no more pain in the you know what package opening, no more big ol vanilla chewies that you don't want to taste before a savory meal, AND no more running out so fast! These are very little pills, so little my son doesnt bother with liquid sometimes, and they can be chewed if you prefer. You get way more than the "package tear chews" variety as well. It's a win! He takes 3 (sometimes two) depending on the meal, and they work great!

I live on lactose relief tablets because everything dairy has lactose in it. Being allergic to milk, it's hard to find a brand of lactose relief tablets that aren't too expensive. I also like the fact that the Equate brand comes in bottles of tablets not individual pop out tablets in a box. I highly recommend.

The tablet is around half the size of the generic at Walgreens and contains the same amount of lactase enzyme. Both have 9000 FCC Lactase Units. (Whatever that is.) Plus, there is no messing around with opening an individual packet. Cost savings are 7.9 cents per tablet vs 27 cents per tablet for the Walgreens Fast-Acting Lactase Enzyme Caplets in individual packets. All I know is that it works! Yeah! So, if you aren't going to carry them around in your pocket, it is better to go with the bottle. Photo shows Equate tablet and bottle on the left.

I've been using Equate Dairy Relief Caplets (120 Count) to help manage my lactose intolerance, and in my experience they do work—especially when I plan ahead before eating dairy. One thing to keep in mind: the serving size is three caplets per dose, so although the bottle says “120 caplets,” that really amounts to only 40 full doses. This is important when comparing cost and value against similar products. These are chewable in this version, and honestly, I don't love the taste—so I usually just swallow them instead of chewing, and they still seem effective for me in reducing gas, bloating, and discomfort. According to the packaging and product info, each dose contains over 9,000 FCC units of the lactase enzyme, which matches what you'd expect for this type of supplement.

I thought this was the best deal, but after comparing the strength of each tablet, it's weaker than others. You need to take 3 of them to be equivalent to others. The positive side of that is that you can take 1 or 2 if you don't need such a strong dose. It works well enough and I'll keep taking these as needed.

It works IF you take 3! The serving size is 3 pills before you eat dairy! I didn't know that at first bc that's kind of absurd so I was only taking one but thank goodness I checked and it is 3, when you take 3 pills then eat ice cream or a cheese quesadilla, your stomach will growl and you may be gassy but it will NOT hurt. No stomach pain just the other side effects which is a win in my book.

It's my fault for purchasing without paying much attention, but the item title says compare to Lactaid™ Fast Act, which contain 9000 FCC. These only contain 3000 FCC, which requires taking 3. The title is referring only to the enzyme. Having to take so many makes these a poor value. My mistake won't be repeated!
