I thought about buying this for a long time. Finally did and I'm very happy with it. Don't let the dimensions fool you, this is NOT a 13x9 dish. The interior of it is close to half that size, but if you are looking for a medium sized casserole dish, look no further. This is great for desserts, side dishes, and any other small casserole. The wooden lid also doubles as a trivet for the dish so that's awesome!
Pros It's a casserole dish. Lid doubles as coaster Seems sturdy Cons LID NO SEAL. Lid must like Jason Derulo cause it wiggle wiggle wiggles Worth mentioning I cooked funeral potatoes once in it, it did not return home with me from the family reunion. Hope she's there next year so she can return home.
I e been looking for a casserole dish with a lid and something to set it on at the table. This is perfect. Not only is it a perfect size but has handles %26 a beautiful duel purpose board cover to put under it and use as a trivet. Multifunctional, like me!
Absolutely love this item. It brings a modern taste to the kitchen but is an awesome dish with lid. My absolute favorite thing is when you take your casserole out of he oven you can place it on the wooden top to cool, cover it, and then put it in the refrigerator keeping it fresh. I've bought this item twice and would buy it again.
I loved my baking dish so much I bought three more as gifts. I got them on sale for 13.00 and found them to be amazing at that price but at 25.00 which they are listed for now I probably would not have bought. The baking dish is pretty and the wooden top is nice but it is too small for anything I bake.
The top seems brittle and dry. Overall the dish is nice. I bought it on sale though. The wooden lid probably needs some mineral oil to help the overall look. I've baked in this dish and had no issues. Heated well and fit a large serving of carrots, potatoes and chicken thighs.
This baking dish is NOT 9x13 as described. It is approximately 8x10 and meets my oven cooking needs. The wooden top does not fit tightly enough, in my opinion, to keep something like a cake moist for storage but should serve as a trivet and temporary cover quite well. It is a heavy ceramic dish - much heavier than I expected. I've not used it yet so cannot verify how well it performs. It was worth the clearance price I paid.
Too Small for serving, cost too much just to use for storage. They do not measure 9x13 on the inside for sure. They fit inside of my 9x13 baking dishes with some room left. They look good though, I struggled with the decision, but I ended up returning them.
Not sure how to rate this - the dish itself is okay. It seems to be well made and is pretty thick and sturdy. But the lid does not fit correctly and can't even be used for refrigerator storage as there are huge gaps all around. I assumed there would be some type of silicone gasket around the rim making the lid airtight for storage, but it just sits loosely on top of the dish and is kind of warped causing big gaps all around. And the side of my lid was split with a big shard/splinter hanging off. Very disappointing.
Gorgeous dish, funny get me wrong, but it was advertised as being 7 quarts, which is why I bought it. To make a triple batch of potatoes for a cookout today. This is in no way 7 quarts. I don't think it holds anything more than a regular 9x13 pan. So I spent a lot of money for something that is useless for the purpose I got it for.
