I am absolutely one hundred percent hooked on this try it on some cream cheese.Pour it on liberally over some cream cheese pop it in the microwave for thirty seconds grab your favorite crackers.I'll give a review on those also Ritz spicy honey , I believe yum yum yum yum , you'll be ruined for life , thank me later or curse me out.But enjoy
I tried this seasoning for the first time a week ago and now have some in my kitchen, my cabinet at work, and in my car. It's kind of tough to get out of the jar but it's worth a few good smacks on the bottom of the jar when it's upside down to get the seasoning out. I've been adding it to everything I eat! It's a much healthier alternative to the amazing taste of hot honey and 100% less sticky.
It's exactly what it says it is. Hot honey. It's good. Chicken, fries, probably a salad. Eggrolls, since them go well with sweet sauces. I like it. Betting you could probably mix this with melted butter and do something with that as well. Sprinkle on bacon, or toast for breakfast?
I was sceptical when I first opened it because it smells like buffalo sauce seasoning but it tastes nothing like that! It's got a little heat to it and a LOT of amazing flavor!! The 1 very small problem I did have with it was getting the powder to sprinkle out onto the chicken breasts and had to repeatedly tap it on the counter so it was a little messy but WELL WORTH IT and now I've used it on turkey sandwiches, chicken breast sandwiches, in fried cabbage, dusted the fresh fried french fries with it.. this stuffs good on EVERYTHING (probably not ice cream, yeah don't do that)
Highly recommend this seasoning. Because of special nutritional needs from having GI surgery this spice opens up delicious and exciting flavoring enhancements to foods. Using it on everything from toast/bagels vegetables, popcorn pastas and more. Definitely a staple on my pantry. Thanks Bettergoods!
I do not believe there is any honey present in this product. When I made my own hot honey, it is approximately 100 times better. But I got lazy and bough this stuff. Don't recommend it, but to each his own so I'm not gonna tell you not to buy it. A shake or two on your tea or coffee in the morning is okay, but the real stuff is better. You decide and then you do you.
Unfortunately, I wanted to love this so bad, but I Did not. It just not giving what's it's supposed to give. There's and overwhelming spice taste. And this is coming from somebody who LOVES spices food. But it just does not compliment this seasoning. And definitely doesn't remind me of hot honey . I can't even think of anything I'd put this on
Bettergoods sells their hot honey in two main forms: a liquid, wildflower honey infused with habanero peppers in a 12 oz easy-squeeze bottle, and as a 3.2 oz dry seasoning blend. Both products are designed for adding a sweet-and-spicy heat to foods, featuring habanero for heat. The dry seasonings is not the same flavor or taste. The flavor is okay, but the texture is a problem. The powder is very fine and tends to clump in the bottle, making it hard to sprinkle evenly. It didn't stick well to my eggs, pizza, wings, etc.. and ended up at the bottom of the plate. Not the best delivery for a hot honey flavor
I was trying to replicate the Hot Honey sunflower seeds from the BIGS brand by using this seasoning paired with the great value pre cracked sun flower seeds. There was a better "stick" when the seeds were hit with a little bit of oil, but this seasoning is much spicier than the BIGS branded sunflower seeds. Not sure what other uses I would have this for, but it's in the pantry for the just in case.
This spice arrived in a secondary clear package sleeve indicating in writing it was okay to ship. However, this bottle had no outside label, and upon opening the cover, the contents spilled through the inside shaker cover proving there was zero seal inside the product. As such this product looks suspicious and could result in tampering. This product I purchased before (and loved the flavor) and bottle had a full label on the outside of bottle with expiration information and an inside seal to be removed before using. I am returning the bottle I received and will attempt to reorder and get a safer spice bottle.
