Some might think this is a non-essential -- that is until you want to whip up a Spanish Tapas favorite, Gambas al ajillo. In which case you'll find having Smoked Paprika on hand is more of an essential than an exotic. Especially at these prices. Just cut up a surfeit of garlic cloves, and olive olive oil, in a pan. Add a bunch of towel dried shrimp. Season and finish off with the magic red Martian spice, fresh parsley, and a shot glass of good Sherry and voila! It's Tapas time at your crib!

This is a must-have in my kitchen. I use it especially for Eggs Benedict, and that smoky flavor really makes a difference. It adds just the right depth without overpowering everything else. Like the other spices, I've found this works just as well as the more expensive brands. Good flavor, consistent, and does exactly what you want it to do. No reason to pay more when this gets it right.

I do lots of cooking so of course use a lot of spices! I get a little mad when I need a spice that Great Value don't make, because spices have become ridiculously expensive! I love all the great value spices never had a problem. I only wish that you would sell them in much larger sizes like on your most popular seasonings instead of me buying all these small bottles!

I used this in chili for the first time, I've never used it before. The flavor it added to the chili was great. Once I tasted it I remembered wondering where that flavor came from. It's a flavor that is hard to describe. The contents are fairly concentrated so you don't need much. I'll have to find some other recipes to use it in.

Liked the grind, smell, and mild heat. It is very flavorful. Can be used on all meats, salads, and vegetables. You just need to decide how mild or strong you want it.

Smoked paprika's is one of my favorite spices to have on hand. A key ingredient and some of the best savory meals, I've also learned that it is a great topping on a loaded, baked potato.

This GV smoked paprika is great.! I use it for cooking and sweet and savory deserts. It adds great color to anything. The jar is good size. It is great in sauces and just as a garnish on many meats and veggies.

It's not the best smoked paprika I've bought but it's alright. It's smokey but not too much. I actually like it when it has a strong smokey flavor but it's alright. It's a little sweet and not spicy. My favorite dish to eat with his Mexican corn, it's delicious. I also like using it on meat and deviled eggs. It has a nice rich dark red color. I don't want to say it's moist because it's not really moist but it's not dry either. Overall I like it.

I sprinkled this on one meal and immediately started judging my own cooking like Gordon Ramsay. Smoky, fancy, and way too powerful for a $2 glow-up. Lost one star because now I'm overusing it on everything like it's a personality trait.

Was disappointed… has a chemical smell. Not sure if this is an isolated incident since all the reviews say this smoked paprika tastes so good. But the one I received smells like chemicals %26 even gave the food a chemical flavor. Had to throw it away.
