What a great value for a great product. The cumin smells just like it should kinda like stinky socks and it makes great chill and salsa and all things Mexican or middle eastern.

I use a lot of comino so I usually buy it in bulk at a local specialty store. But when I didn't have time to go there, I tried the Walmart one, and meanwhile my spouse picked up some at Aldi. Between those two, they taste pretty much the same, although the color is a little different (see photo if that matters to you). I like the glass jars better than plastic, but still this was a good price when I was in a pinch, and all in all it seems fine.

This cumin in darker, less finely ground, and has a stronger fragrance and more aggressive flavor than Great Value's organic ground cumin. I prefer the organic variety, but it costs about four times as much. There's nothing wrong with this one, especially in cooked dishes where it's used in combination with other spices and seasonings, but I'd hesitate to use it in a dish where cumin dominates the flavor profile.

this is not pure Cumin. And after using it in my chili recipe...I can say I'll never use it again. tossing my entire order of this. the ingredients of this so called Cumin container are a mystery apparently. There is no ingredients breakdown anywhere on the container, the ingredients and taste have other mystery ingredients to make it smell and taste smokey with a spice added. total cumin trash...redic to advertise without letting the consumer know the ingredients as well.

Walmart Great Value spices are now horrible. I just opened a new bottle of cumin and made chili and it ruined the taste of the chili. Last month, the same thing happened with a new bottle of oregano and it ruined the food I used it in. Buyer Beware!!!!

The color was off but I opened it and it tastes like lemon chemicals. I bought a new bottle today in the larger size which looked like the right color but it is still lemon scented. Will be throwing them out and shopping for this item elsewhere.

I usually have good luck with Great Value, but this is absolutely AWFUL. This is not cumin. It is very dark almost black. What a disappointment. Wasted it in a recipe with $10 worth of meat. Complete garbage. Ruined my dinner. Probably will not be buying GV spices again. 👎👎

The Great Value cumin is very, very off! It's the wrong color, the fragrance is not correct. I cooked a meal with it only once and the taste was totally off too, ruining my dish. It almost tastes soap like or chemical like. I don NOT believe it's pure cumin, if at all, regardless of the ingredient list, as I no longer trust food labeling in this day and age. I'm throwing both of them out. Do yourself a favor and don't be enticed by the cheap price.

Has an awful chemical taste and odor. Had to throw it out.
