Healthy %26 tasty

Tania February 3, 2026

It's actually herring. Herring is very healthy and a clean fish, low in mercury. I eat this almost every day with broccoli sprouts, avocado and berries.

Good fish for you and your dog!

L November 2, 2025

Truthfully I don't eat these but I'm rating these for my dog Abby who loves them. I cook real food for this little fur lady and she gets a probiotic breakfast 2-3 x week including yogurt, honey, fruit; sardines and eggs! These sardines are wild caught, in water and not salty - and she always eats the fish first, so I know she loves it. Good price too. Share them with your dog if you eat them too because the price is right!!

GREAT TASTING

jgor August 31, 2025

I purchase Brunswick Sardines for my husband. He loves the taste and portion size. Great price point. The odd time I supplement my dog's meal with a sardine. She loves them.

Sardines used to be small, usually 6 small ones per can. Now 2 larger ones and 1 smaller. Very strong fishy taste. We have them with fried eggs and bread. Husband doesn't mind them. Ran into 2 tins that were very dry sardines so find quality isn't as good. Tried sardine fillets but are dry without skin. Maybe not allowed to fish small ones now? Anyone think the same?

Sardine Joke

Michael May 15, 2026

First time buying and last. The can was half full with dried our white sliced sardines, tasted terrible but my dogs eat them. I will feed the remaining 2-cans I bought to the dogs. Not human quality food.

Good product TASTY, but not Sardines as stated!!!

jackie May 21, 2025

I bought this for my dog who is having joint issues and sardines would be very good for her the front of the wrapper says "no salt added sardines in spring water". Sounded perfect but when my 5 cans came they said the same on the front of the wrapper but the ingredients on my cans said herring not sardines!!! There is a big difference between sardines and herring and I don't know how Brunswick is getting away with that. If I was buying herring these taste very good and I'd give it 5 STARS for myself if it stated that is was supposed to be herring. However they were supposed to be Sardines and your advertisement shows the ingredients in the back should be sardines but that is not what they gave me. The front of the wrapper clearly states sardines the back clearly states INGREDIENTS HERRING and they are in fact herring. That is crazy! Also, your picture shows in ingredients sodium 200mg but my cans of herring in ingredients show it has 320mg of sodium. I realize all fish will have natural sodium in it even if it states unadded salt but because it is a different fish it has 120mgs more natural salt than the sardines would have had %26 salt is not a great thing for dogs. I may buy this product in the future for myself. It definitely smells and taste alot better than sardines do. However I believe people should receive what they believe they have ordered. I see someone else stated the same thing "NOT WHAT THEY ORDERED. THEY BELIEVED IT WAS SARDINES BUT THE INGREDIENTS ACTUALLY WAS HERRING. That shouldn't happen. Brunswick would sell a whole bunch more if they actually stated what it was and not say it is sardines when it is 100% is herring.
