THICKENS LONG, FINE HAIR Am a woman who buys men's hair products because they are cheaper. This has a very light, neutral scent that dissipates when dry. Am not familiar with the national brand this imitates. HOW I USE IT I apply this to wet hair, shape with my fingers or lightly blow dry, comb it out. It works better than my favorite mousse for body, and far better than almost any gel I've used. Most gels and mousses make my hair darker and make hair look greasy by the end of the day. Brushed out, it increases my volume and improves hold for any way I style it. I would still need to spray to freeze a style but I am more interested in thick obedient hair and this delivers for me.

I purchased this product to replace the Crew brand product. It does the exact same great job of holding my thin hair in place as the Crew brand, but costs a couple bucks cheaper per tube.

Been using this product for about a week and so far so good! I like how it doesn't leave my hair so stiff. Also no flakes which is good! Best product for medium hold!

My husband uses this gel in his curly hair and likes it better than one of the more expensive name brands.

I tried this product as an alternative to Crew Styling Gel and found it to be a better value and easier to use, in my opinion. As a result I've been using this product for years.

I do like using this for my sons hair. It keeps it in place during the day. I do wish that it didn't leave the white stuff in his hair near the end of the day, but overall I am satisfied. The smell is great too.

It's a great product that works for keeping your hair the way you want it but it dries hard so when you touch your hair it feels hard not soft like hair should feel but I'd recommend it to people who want their hair to stay put for a long time!

Similar to Crew, but much thinner with less hold. $ to $ for equal product performance will cost about the same as Crew so I'm just going back to Crew when this is used up.

Outer labeling of package breaks apart over time. By the time I'm using the end of it, I get flakes of the package all over my hands whenever I squeeze the tube.
