Much, much better than expected and much better than one can buy in dollar store or similar stores. Probably I am going to use more than once same sets just to make it easier on environment. Actually this knife can really cut meat. And what I really like they are not transparent I don't have to look around where they are. Definitely recommend and going to buy again and again.

This is compostable, assorted cutlery. I'm really glad to know it's made from certified bio-based materials. I love that they reduce waste because there's so much around us, but they still are sturdy and hold up to the quality of a “regular” plastic knife, fork, or spoon.

I like the variety pack in this Great Value Compostable Assorted Any Occasion White Cutlery 48CT. It comes with the same amount of each forks, spoons, & knives. Their handles have a ridged pattern on them which gives them an interesting look. The plastic on these is more bendable than the ones that aren't compostable. They feel sturdy enough to eat with though. I like that they are made from compostable materials to reduce waste. These are nice to use for meals when you don't want to dirty your utensils, picnics, etc. The spoons can be used for cereal & soups. The forks for meat & salads. The knives can be used to cut meat, bread, & more. They come in a neutral white color, & I can wash them off & reuse them or recycle them after using them. They come in a box to keep them clean & organized.

Not a strong plastic for too much heat! Like a hot banquet meal - the fork bent under the steam heat. But good on the disposal part.

These melt and bend out of shape as soon as they touch hot food. Forks gave way when I used them for ramen noodles, enchiladas, and a veggie rice bowl. Spoons melted when mixing up some fried rice. Knife is dull and could not cut open a bag of frozen veggies. These are flimsy and cheap. Tried these only because my normal plastic utensils were out of stock and these were compostable. Got my $3 back.
