For maximum nutritional vaue to enjoy and draw benefits from pure fruit juices, instead of sugar infused juices or when one fruit source is desired, I always buy bottles where juice is from one type of fruit, preferrably pure or fresh squeezed. Though pure pomegranate and/or cranberry juices, even cherry, cost more than blends, but are just as economical, because each bottle provides several glassfuls especially when adding water or sparkling water to dilute the potent tart strength of certain fruit juices. Also, I prefer to add my own choice and amount of sweetener. It baffles me when other consumers whine about hardships of maintaining good health for themselves and their children, while swallowing sugar loaded juice blended drinks. Seems to me that it is cheaper to buy or squeeze pure fruit for juices, than the cost of health complicated medical care.
This was purchased for my father in law. He usually buys POM brand but said he actually prefers this one better because of the taste. I think the organic taste is better. He has continued to request this brand now!
I've been really impressed with the quality of WM Great Value label products, and this is tops -- organic and almost half the price of the leading name brand pomegranate juice! If you eat pomegranate seeds directly from the fruit, this is more like that flavor than the POM brand juice. The natural flavor is slightly bitter and not super sweet. Maybe the process for this carries a touch more of the rind taste, but it's not a deal breaker at all for me. The suggested uses in the product description are using this as a blend-in product (how I use it, with seltzer water) which helps dilute the natural flavor. I also add a little bit of stevia sweetener. I think this is truly a great value and glad I checked if this was avaliable from the GV label.
Mix it with some tart cherry juice and you basically have a very healthy drink. I love the combo and I like them separate too! Full of antioxidants that I want and need!
Too much taste of pomegranate aril seeds (not juicy flesh) and white pomegranate innards, some black stuff at the bottom of the bottle should have been filtered out. The product was attractive to me because it had no sweeteners, just juice. But it needs to be quality inspected by Walmart on-site.
it has accumulated stuff on the bottom of the bottle, the juice had no flavor at all, and the color was brownish red, not bright red, didn't seem like fresh product.
The taste was bad, nothing like Pom. Tasted more like beet juice. I drank almost 1 bottle cause I didnt want to waste but o-poured the other 2 don the drain
If you drink natural juices regularly, then you know the difference in taste. With that said, it tastes like beet juice. I love beet juice and already had some; I wanted pomegranate.
Something tasted very wrong with this item. I've bought this before and this time it tasted like chemicals and was bitter. I asked my husband to tell me what he thought. He said there was something wrong with it too. I called Walmart for a refund but they refused and sent my $6.07 refund request to another dept to review and decide whether to refund in 10 days. This is completely unacceptable.
Flavor is absolutely HORRIBLE! Sticking with name brand POMS. That’s what I get for trying to save a couple bucks. Have to throw out - wish I had never wasted the money.
