I absolutely love this. I like that it's not very sweet and that the flavor is not overpowering, though I wouldn't mind it with a little more intense flavor, this works just fine as is too. if you had to ice it down it would probably get watery very fast because it is mild and flavor at least to my palate but I enjoy it this way. That said if you're expecting the traditional really sharp lemonade flavor this is not for you. Watermelon and mint go very well together. Another reviewer in here said they had culinary experience that they would never have thought about it. It makes me wonder where they went to culinary school as it's not uncommon. I believe it was at Publix that they had a cucumber watermelon and mint available from some company. I think that's good but this is better. I guess it would depend on my mood. My only problem with this is that it is out of stock frequently. I see that other commenters have complained the same. My other complaint would be that the bottles are small. I wish they would produce a larger size. I end up ordering six to eight of these. Of course that's good for Walmart's pocketbook but not mine especially at the $3.82 price point it seems to come up at. Aside from improving the availability and selling bigger containers of it, they could try mixing it with other things like cucumber or celery but as an addition to not a replacement for. This stuff is the bomb as is but increasing availability and packaging sizes as well as perhaps slightly intensifying the flavor and or trying different combinations is something I'd like to see in the future hopeful expansion of this particular product line. Excellent as long as you don't expect a really strong flavor.
I love how light and crisp this watermelon, mint lemonade is. i don't remember the sugar content, but it's not very sweet. It's perfect on a hot summer day.Even tastes great, blended with ice. i added a bit of fresh squeezed lime and a dash of salt, this will be my new go to drink.
I absolutely love the flavor of this drink is very light and goes down easily. Especially when you're out in the heat this is very refreshing. My two-year-old loved it and so did I. My older kids and my husband weren't too big of a fan, but they still drink it. This is definitely refreshing for the hot weather here in Florida. You don't add any ice because that might water it down. I don't think there's any sugar added. But somehow it has a sweetness to it, but it's a very light sweetness.
concentrate is another type/form/method to process impurities out of juice. although cencentrate does a weird squenching to its taste. like your taste-buds clinch at the compression the concentrate is in. scientifically speaking. This is more of a cocktail then lemonade. most lemonade is lemon juice (5-10%), sugar, water.... its good.. more of a punch cocktail then lemonade.. the mixing of pasterization and concentrate make it a very unique taste... doesnt taste like lemonade
I ordered because it sounded interesting. Over all it is pretty bland. It tastes like it was really watered down. Mostly one gets the herbal taste of the mint. Lemonade and watermelon sounds good . So does lemonade and mint. But the 3 together just doesn't cut it. I really wish it were better .. If so I would have ordered it again .
As someone with professional culinary experience and a discerning palet, I would never think to combine watermelon and mint, and this product proves my intuition about that. Unpleasant flavor combination that does not work and confuses the tongue. Tastes to me like artificial watermelon candy with conflicting aromas of lime and cucumber. I would instead try watermelon and coconut if I was looking for a unique combination that refreshes in the summer.
it just tastes like watermelon there's no mint I bought it because it was watermelon mint. the second time they even shook it to see if that was the reason it wasn't. there's no mint. I should get my money back if I was buying watermelon it tasted great for the watermelon but no mint.
Dropped off at the neighbors apartment so i never received my drink. Not only is my correct address listed, but I've gotten multiple deliveries from Walmart without this being the issue because usually people check the apartment number before just leaving a packaged food item on a doorstep. I want a refund!
This should be advertised as rancid Cucumber- Watermelon-rind water. This smells and tastes ...like if you had a dirty pail of old, stale water and peeled your slimey, rotting cucumers, putting the peels into the water, then adding the old green rind from an unripe watermelon into it. Let that fester in the sun for about a week and then drain it into a bottle. It would taste just like this. Not a trace of mint nor lemon. It says there is apple and carrot juice in it, but they also go undetected. This should be served to the prisoners on death row and no one else. Blechhhh!!! Its so bad, it will haunt me. I will have nightmares from this traumatizing sludgewater! My tastebuds are on strike. They may have curled up and croaked after subjecting them to this torture. You've been warned.
Horrible taste. Love watermelon and trying to hydrate more. I guess it is the mint that is so overpowering. Trying to be more frugal with increase in costs, otherwise would have thrown it out. Mixing small amounts with other liquids and it is still hard to tolerate.
