I've been buying these fold top sandwich bags for years. Mostly for kids when they were little ( 30 yrs. ago) %26 wouldn't eat some cafeteria food. They are easy to use, convenient, and affordable. Now, we use them mostly for picking up Harley's doggy diamonds %26 then dropping the poop in a toilet. He's a small dog so you probably can't use them for larger dogs. The price companies charge for dog poop bags is alarming.
I use these baggies every single day for both food items and general storage. They are easy to tie when needed, and are very strong (never had one rip). I make homemade burritos, and these baggies are the exact fit I need for the freezer. I have been buying these bags for years and consider them an essential pantry item.
These are the best. Since we are only two now I wrap meats individually. %23 poinds of ground beef make 12 hamburgers and each burger is wrapped in a fold top baggie and then in white butcher paper which I buy at gordon foods. The plastic keeps the meat from freezer burn and the paper keeps the color. If you need a pound take out four burgers. I wrap hot dogs, chicken tenders and use the gallonsize twist tie bags for roasts ( which I usually cut in half) and freeze them. I save money and things are kept fresh. NOTE: Hot dogs do not need to be wrapped in paper. I bought a hot dog toast from Walmart on line and it makes the best hot dogs.
I use these little baggies on a regular basis to close up and remove "clumps" from the cat litter boxes. Insert clump with the litter box shovel, fold the top, tightly twist the top of the bag and tie a knot.. efficient and cost effective way of confining the smell and closing up the baggie without the need for baggie ties. Keep the box of sandwich bags and a trash can close by the litter boxes . I go on litter box patrol once in the morning and once in the evening. Keeps everyone in the house happy - kitties, kiddies and adults too! Will not be submitting a photo.
I thought I ordered several box's of these some months ago online. I usually purchase several box's of these at one time. They are very simple sandwich bags and the price is low accordingly for what they are. I rarely use them for a sandwich. :) One big use I have for them is chicken livers and chicken. I boil chicken livers and then separate the livers into portions for my little dog. I then place each portion into the sandwich bags. Finally, I place each portion that is rolled into these sandwich bags, into a freezer bag. This makes it easy to open a freezer bag, remove a portion, heat, and serve for my little dogs supper. I do this primarily with chicken livers and also with chicken thighs and chicken breasts that I portion and freeze for my dog, for short term freezing. They're also handy to grab for many items such as cosmetic sponges. I've used them to insert small wires and label the bag with masking tape. I've also used them as a covering such as covering a paint brush. Was going to order several box's online. Drat!
Old school flip top sandwich bags. Nice to find sandwich bags without zipper closure. Abundant quantity of 200.
it doesnt seal but it has two flaps one for inside one for outside there are so many for 1 or 2 dollars but if you want it to hold itself closed this isnt it i didnt pay attention to that but it says it in the description lol
I buy the double zip for mom who uses them for coookies and everthing else, without thinking about wrapping a cookie in wax paper or saran wrap before putting it into the sandwhich bag - it drives me nuts. These might work for a sandwhich but imo, they're too thin to use for cookies
I wonder how long it will take me to use 900 bags... :/ Walmart REFUSES shipping on less than 3 boxes of 300 bags, so I was forced to buy 3 of them. I only needed ONE. Doesn't say much for the big concern over plastic usage nor the needs of the customer.
I found that even folded over they become unfolded and the whatever falls out. Each time. Zipper or press lock worth it.
