Dawn Ultra, Dishwashing Liquid, Original Scent, 18 Fl oz

I've used Dawn for years with excellent results. That being said, it seems that not long ago they changed the scent. Since I am fragrance sensitive, I've noticed the new springy-fresh scent (or whatever their catchy marketing name for it is) and I prefer the former scent. It was less "fresh" and more basic. Sometimes, just average is what we need. At least I do regarding fragrances in detergents, shampoo, body wash, etc. Who decided we all need overwhelming fragrances in our everyday products?

I use this this wash my dishes , because my dishwasher has failed me to many times, and if I am gonna have to rewash dishes I will just use dawn and wash them right the first go round. It cuts through even the greasiest of gunk from food residue, I mean nasty hamburger grease fried on cheese residue, down to nasty scrambled egg flaky gunk, it conquers and cleans it all. I use this scent, as I have excema and it does not bother my skin, in fact it does help soften the skin. I would say if you are like me, and think dishwashers these days are for the birds just get you some dawn turn on Taylor Swift and wash them dishes right.

I remember growing up and my parents use to always use dawn dish washer detergent. And now that I have grown up I still continue to use it. Dawn is the best soap for getting grease out of my dishes and cleaning up after washing dishes. I use it for almost everything else except for the laundry. It foams up really well and makes me feel good about cleaning.

well, we all know the reputation of DAWN!!! it's been a quality product that I keep in my house for geez 54 years now! I don't care what happens and who has it and who don't, I will always make sure that that's what I have for the dishwashing liquid. it is great on grease stains because you know if you happen to have a husband like mine who's a mechanic, it comes in handy! it doesn't get them all out, but it does help a lot. please make dishes perfectly of course! definitely studs all over the place when I use this stuff! I don't have to use a ton of it just to get bubbles on my sponge so I can wash my dishes. it does leave my glasses looking great, and my place sparkle with a great reflection! and now I know not to let my husband do the dishes after we eat macaroni and cheese! because I have a habit of making sure there's nothing stuck on the plate afterwards, and oh my God he does not! 🫤😠🤣🤣🤣🤣

I also use it to remove food stains from clothes. It seems to cut grease from my dishes but the suds does go away too quickly. Some times I have to change water and soap multiple times if I have a lot of dishes, which I usually do. I have tried others but I usually come right back to the Dawn Ultra.

Good for cleaning in many contexts such as dishes in the sink to various other tools and utensils. I use it with to paint, art and crafts, and clean up too.

I have been purchasing Dawn dish liquid for 30 years or more. this bottom is not labeled to have any specific scent. From the minute I opened it I could smell what the makers call perfumes which are just bunch of chemicals. It's not even the fact that I'm sensitive to a lot of chemicals. Normally I could just ignore it. However even for somebody who likes perfumes I can't imagine they like the smell of this. It smells so bad it literally makes me nauseous. kind of like the cheapest perfume you could find on the face of the Earth but other than that I don't know how to explain it it just stinks.

I wish I had read the reviews first. The new scent removed this human on contact, far beyond simple preference or sensitivity. To me, it smells like a nauseating, plastic, overly sweet floral bouquet with baby powder, green apple, and an undertone of vomit. It lingers and triggers a visceral reaction similar to spoiled milk or meat, making me nauseous. I switched to a competitor to stay away from the risk of another offensive scent.

It's not the original scent. I used Dawn all my adult life, many decades. I had to stop when they changed the scent. This scent is SO strong! Why do you even need to have perfume on your dishes. I truly hope they bring back the classic Dawn!
