I had some chrome wheels that were orange and tainted .I think they came out much better then they were . I worked on them for awhile but these pads made it where I did not work as hard as if I did not use them. I have used SOS for years and will continue to do so. I ordered from Walmart and received the next morning.
Everything arrived on time, The driver was very happy and nice. A pretty lady and strong to carry 4 boxes of cat litter in a big box. It was separate from my food that she brought first and had to go back for the cat litter. I love Walmart. Thanks. Emily Gordanier .
SOS pads are an essential. They have great lathering. The steel wool is very durable. So convenient Once I'm finished scrubbing pots and pans I can still use the pad to scrub my sink, then sanitize with spray. We use them for cleaning the cars tire rims, tools, kitchen pans, etc Off brands don't have the same sudsing and durability.
these are great for cleaning most things, typically I try to get the smaller ones because the built in detergent washes out extremely fast and these tend to rust out after a few days. but these are a must have for stainless steel and glass cookware.
This product has been around all my life. It's not probably as popular as it once was but it does a great job at cleaning a charred pan. Also it cleans more thoroughly than the plastic scrubbers. Classic cleaning for well over 50 years, how can you mess with that?
What can I say about S.O.S. pads? They've been around forever and the combination of the steel wool and soap works just fine for cleaning grime on pots and pans, and i use it to clean and polish my steel sink. Helpful for many other urposes. Don't use it on delicate pans (like those with T-Fal or other surfaces that shouldn't be scratched).
I love these SOS pads. When we moved in to our house it had a used glass top stove that was not taken care of. It had horrible marks on it where food had been burnt on to it. I worked for weeks trying to get them off. Last resort with nothing to use, I started to use a sos pad on it using it in circular motions a bit at a time for a few days, Finally all the marks and burnt on marks are gone. And there were a lot of them. This was cheaper then buying a new stove because I could not stand the looks of this one.
I grew up with my family saying 'get an SOS pad' every time sone one stated they were having a hard time cleaning something. I can recall using them on an old bike I had as a kid, to scrub some rust and dirt off my bike fenders. Today, I'm no different then what my family would say when I was growing up 'get an SOS pad'. I use them for a large array of tasks from indoors to outdoors from scrubbing stove ovens to cleaning outdoor grills. I always make sure I have some SOS pads as I don't like the idea of running out.
While I use these often to clean stubborn food on skillets they are also nice for countertops and stoves among many other uses. The only drawback is they are small and get up quickly. If you lay them down and walk away for anything they do rust easily. But this doesn't happen often because I use them most of the time before this happens. I still buy them. Be sure to rinse whatever you are cleaning because it leaves pieces of the tiny steel wire like pieces on certain items. Still, overall, worth it!
Left in the rain. Request refund. Please tell drivers not to leave products, especially those in cardboard and made with soap to put under carports etc.. I have 3 carports and it was literally at the bottom of my steps in the rain not under pitch.
