This is a very good quality item. I had STRONG glue on nails on that was put on the night prior and wanted to switch the next day. I soaked them about 30mins each hand it melted right off. I'm sure if I would have wrapped it tightly in foil it would have worked faster. It doesn't have a strong smell and the strength definitely seems like salon grade. ONYX Professional 100% Acetone is a GREAT product.
This stuff will remove anything! I recently just used about 4 bottles to completely remove the black stain off of my cheap Amazon dining table and was able to restain it! This somehow worked better than a bottle of paint thinner from the hardware store?
I really enjoy using this maximum strength nail polish remover—especially for tackling stubborn glitter polish. Just a small amount goes a long way, and it works wonders dissolving the fake nails I typically secure with crazy glue. Despite its powerful formula, it’s surprisingly gentle on my nails and the scent isn’t overpowering at all. As someone who does their own nails at home, pure acetone is a must-have in my kit—and this product delivers both performance and value.
This bottle should last a long time. A little did one hand without needing more. I am excited to see how long it will last and can't wait to tell others.
i really enjoy this for a good self care after having fake acrylic nails professionally done or done by myself this is a god soak off for ten minutes in a glass round bowl of your choice!
In my 35 years of natural, acrylics, gels; 35 years of every color and every brand and every price price point of nail lacquer made; 35 years of taking crap off my nails to let them breathe... this is my 'go to' acetone. Soak an average sized cotton ball to the point just before it's dripping, put it on the nail and hold it for 10 seconds (as Ross Geller would say, count "Mississippily") and then wipe up the nail, to the tip, and away. 95-100% of even the hardest to remove color is gone. (I use a cheap dollar store eyeliner type brush to remove any dark colors that might remain from within the cuticles. To remove artificial nails, use a good thick hand cream on hands, even petroleum jelly will suffice, making sure to coat to half of fingers well. Dip your finger tip(s) into a small bowl with the Onyx and leave it dunked 5 minutes. Remove the fingertip(s) and gently try to remove the artificial nail around the edges, lifting as much as will give without damage or discomfort. Continue this process until the artificial nail 'pops' off. No other brands I've used of 100% acetone seem to work as well as ONYX brand.
I am delighted to share my positive experience with the Onyx Professional 100% Pure Acetone Nail Polish Remover Kit. This kit truly lives up to its promise, offering a quick and effective formula that effortlessly removes gel, artificial, and glitter nail polish. This product is a must-have for anyone seeking maximum-strength nail polish removal. I particularly appreciate that this nail polish remover is 100% acetone, making it a top choice for those looking for pure acetone solutions. The kit includes a generous 16 fl oz quantity, ensuring long-lasting use. Aside from its intended use, I've found this acetone nail polish remover to be incredibly versatile. I have successfully used it to tackle tough felt tip marker marks on various surfaces, including kitchen counters and hands. The quick action of the formula makes clean-up efficient and hassle-free. In conclusion, the Onyx Professional 100% Pure Acetone Nail Polish Remover Kit with the 7-inch nail file has become an essential part of my beauty and cleaning routine. I highly recommend this product for its quality, effectiveness, and practicality.
Excellent at removing "gel" type polishes, but slightly drying, so be prepared with Vitamin E oil, Vaseline, or whatever you prefer for superstrong moisture needs. You will also use significantly less product and cotton balls compared to a non-acetone remover.
Loved this product to nail prep for gel polish, reg polish, or gel stickers. Would dry up all oils and moisture. Now since they (ADDED) an ingredient called benzoate.. leaves behind residue and I can no longer use it as my go to nail prep. It has ruined some nice gel stickers I was excited to use. I'm very agitated and disappointed in the product. I understand why they added it. But, doesn't deliver the same results as before.
Doesn't work early as good since they added this Benzoate to it. Also the new bottle leaks. Very disappointed. Hope to find some of the older bottles in the future. Or I guess it's off to the hardware store for the real deal.
