These little 'computer variants' (if you will),are SOOO overlooked and yet can come in so handy, that I try to carry one with me always. Technology will obviously progress FAR beyond what we can imagine now, but it seems so difficult to ignore that little things like this can be so handy when or predecessors, (not so long ago), had to rely on horses, rocks, spears and a bow %26 arrows. These are durable, and well designed. I allowed students to use these for a whole semester, and they were in great shape still. I had ordered a simple 4 function calculator from Amazon, and they were destroyed after one semester. These are by far better calculators!

I love that this is compact enough to put in my pocket or a purse. It is easy to use and comes in handy when I need to calculate quickly. The favorite part of this calculator is that it is solar powered, so I do not have to worry about getting batteries.

So far so good. No complaints. I purchased these for my son's 6th grade class. Considering there's 30kids in his class, the cost was reasonable and delivered in time for the start date of a Monday. Great deal.

These days everyone has a calculator in their pockets. I'm talking about your smartphones. So the use case scenarios for an actual calculators are slim. But you know who can use an old school calculator? School kids. So I gave this to my 4th grader and told him to get off his gadgets and learn how to use a real calculator. So here is his feedback. The buttons are a little stiff. The screen is bright and adequate. But it can do all the stuff a standard calculator can do.

Not even worth the $2 I paid for it, unless you're buying it for a child. Has a limited number of digits and an awkward arrangement of function keys. And the keys require some force to register. Too awkward to use. I'd much rather use the calculator in my phone.

Sorry to say that this is the 1st time I have had a poor review but none of the function buttons worked. Straight out of the package I could not get the "=" button to work along with other buttons that failed to work; so just tossed it into the trash. I would not recommend it.

I've always had an issue with these small calculators. They are rarely reliable. I thought I would give this one another chance...NOPE The add button doesn't work and I've only had it for a few days. I guess the old saying, "you get what you pay for" rings true in this case!
