I wouldn't recommend buying this. The set is cheaply made. The compass doesn't stay in the position you set it for and there's no way to tighten it up since they made it where the nut is sunk in.

Sketching Must Have
Bought this to drop into my pencil case so I could have quick access to straight lines when I'm sketching out and about. I'm surprised by how much I actually use them. Great buy.

Cheap math set but works
This set definitely doesn't compare to the quality of my Oxford geometry set that I had as a kid. I vaguely remember it used to be around $4 but currently sells for $12 on Amazon! So I opted for this cheaper set thinking Staedtler is a good enough brand too. Well this set turned out to be far cheaper in quality. The metal components of the compasses are thin, light and cheap-looking. Eraser is cheap, sharpener is cheap, the plastic of the rulers is cheap. The outside tin is nice though. Since I'm not expecting high quality for $5, and I do like the tin, I still give this a 3 star. It'll do the job.

Tools in a tin
This kit in a tin, is complete with all the deed tools. It is written for math use, however, I create cards, etc, and this will help make it possible, for my creations to look more professional and easy for me to create them!

BEST KIT ever for CALC/ TRIG student
Ok, I have to say, this little kit is a must for any calculus/trig student. It is the best investment I have ever gotten, and it is so affordable. SKIP the big ruler, ALL you need is that little guy in here. This whole kit has all you need, and a couple other things I got, you are set.
