My granddaughter uses these for our projects. She has one for school, but this is for home.

Ok, I have to say, this little kit is a must for any calculus/trig student. It is the best investment I have ever gotten, and it is so affordable. SKIP the big ruler, ALL you need is that little guy in here. This whole kit has all you need, and a couple other things I got, you are set.

i was just looking for a compass and this was all they had. the compass works as it should. I like the conversion cheat sheet on the inside of the tin. the real star of this set is definitely the eraser. i would give that 5 stars. the sharpener was really poor quality. it never really worked great from the start and quickly the screw came loose and it basically doesn't work at all now even after tightening and repositioning the blade. i assume it is chipped or the plastic is chipped. i'd really like to review the walmart app right now because it is not letting me add a picture of the sharpener and keeps crashing and making me start over.

lots of useful little tools, very good for the price

It was much more cheaply made then I expected. I'm well familiar with the name brand I've used them for years but these were flimsy and cheap. I'll use them though. They do actually work.

This set definitely doesn't compare to the quality of my Oxford geometry set that I had as a kid. I vaguely remember it used to be around $4 but currently sells for $12 on Amazon! So I opted for this cheaper set thinking Staedtler is a good enough brand too. Well this set turned out to be far cheaper in quality. The metal components of the compasses are thin, light and cheap-looking. Eraser is cheap, sharpener is cheap, the plastic of the rulers is cheap. The outside tin is nice though. Since I'm not expecting high quality for $5, and I do like the tin, I still give this a 3 star. It'll do the job.
