I actually bought this metal ruler to help my helpers to measure and cut block. It is an excellent choice. They use magic markers so they get magic marker on the ruler and it wiped right off and numbers are very easily seen. It is a great choice.

Nice ruler. Has thin cork on backside so it doesn't move around. I use mine for scale model scratch builds. I can mark areas and then use it as a guide for cutting straight lines. Works great for me

These steel rulers are fantastic. The best ever to use as a guide when cutting material with an exacto knife. The cork keeps it from slipping. Plus it elevates the ruler a tiny bit to keep inks from smearing when using it to draw, Metric on the other side is handy, to compare to inches.

It's a ruler. What's not to like? I didn't use them as rulers so I wish they had been a little stiffer, but they worked for my project.

I bought this so that my daughter could use in at a military camp - probably for making her bunk! ha!

For the price, this ruler is a great value. Cork backing is completely intact & affixed to stainless steel ruler, which is, itself, pretty flexible & lightweight. Why pay more when this ruler does the job?

This is classic Wescott rulers made from stainless steel with a cork like backing to prevent sliding. The edges are all smooth, and they will not cut you. This is easy to read, great quality, accurate, and it seems like a good value for a classic design.

Nice ruler, good cork style backing. A little too flexible compared to my art ruler from 30 years ago, lol. Still, worth the price!

Metal is so thin that it shredded my pencils when drawing a line.
