I have been using this Valvoline ATF Maxlife on my Toyota 2007 Rav4 Transmission Fluid Changes for over a decade and I can truly state that it outperforms. I am so glad that it is compatible with the Toyota WS transmission fluid and in my opinion it even outperforms that. I typically replace the Transmission Fluid about every 25K - 30K miles. The Transmission seems smoother after the drain and fill. Just make sure not to overfill. I have made a cut out in the plastic cover below the Transmission drain plug to easily access it for the drain and fill, and I do not need to remove the complete plastic dust cover now. Cheers to Valvoline, keep up the good work.
This is a good transmission fluid for the Ford 150 1999 model. It is compatible with the F150 Mercron V transmission fluid. Drain all the fluid and replace it with this. The R70W requires 5.9 quarts when you drop the transmission pan %26 replace the filter or 13.4 quarts for the total job when you drain the toqure converter and transmission cooler replacement. This is the best fluid for a vehicle with lots of mileage and is not going to be used for towing excessive loads. Great product for a great price!
This stuff for Toyota fluid replacement. First Toyota does not make transmission fluid. Valvoline has been for a long long time. It's compatible with Toyota spec fluid. Use it in both a 2008 and a 2014 Tacoma both shift better cold. Change every 40k miles. No issues. 2008 has 304 k miles. 2014 has 140 k Both shift great and no issues. Done since new every 40 k
Highly recommended for Subaru ATF. I always do a full fluid exchange that requires 3 gallons. Also recommend replacing the screw-on AT filter with an OEM vs aftermarket brand for every flush, even though Subaru states it is not required (cheap insurance to protect the transmission).
I've been used Valvoline Max Life Synthetic transmission fluid several years. never dissatisfied. it's completely compatible to my Land Rover LR3 , the only difference is red die., Valvoline makes 97% of all transmission fluid for just about every transmission fluid. no reason to purchase the same fluid with a car manufacturer name on it, for $20.00 quart. save yourself some big dollar and check compatibility for yourself.
I used this ATF fluid in a Ford Edge transmission 6F50. The mileage was around 120,000 (original ATF fluid) and the car was jerking going up overpasses or under light acceleration. It could not find the right gear to stay in. I did a drain and fill three times with Valvoline ATF and the car is shifting like it was almost brand new. I'll be doing a drain and fill every third oil change now to keep the fluid in a newer state.
This Valvoline Multi-Vehicle Transmission Fluid works great! My vehicle shifts much smoother, and it's a great quality product at a good price. Definitely recommend!
it is a solid choice for somebody without transmission problems but it's still better to use the stuff that's made exactly for your car but this stuff will do as a temporary one-time fill to get you around but if you're in a 2004 Toyota Sienna put the right stuff in for permanent fill
Good for most applications.I don't recommend it In place of dextron three or four In older vehicles two thousand six or prior. Be mindful it's very thin fluid Excellent but formulated for fuel economy. If your transmission doesn't like thin fluid don't use it.
I purchased 2 gallons and 1 of them was refilled with used fluid . It was opened and the seal was gone. And was full of black burnt smelling fluid. My guess is some one used the new fluid and filled it with their old and returned it and then it was sold to me. I poured some in my car before realizing it I'm so mad!
