The cover protects
The waterproof cover is very insulated and nice. love the cover and itis thick. Quality at it's best. We have a small TV that fits the case.

Not a great fit and need ability to zip front.
Because it fits a wide variety of TV's the fit is not good for a 50”. Also, after receiving and realizing you have to take the entire thing off each time you watch the TV, you realize that one that could have had a zip up and off front would have been better.

item covered my 75in tv well...it was a tv i put in my barn but its open so i needed the whole tv covered the bottom was wide open and only had 2 velcro straps and it wouldnt pull it closed
