I haven't used them yet; but thought they were a good investment for next Christmas. The thin wire will give me a less notice of the wires in my decorating and the small lights will be a softer glow. Battery operation will allow placing them anywhere and no extension cord or wall outlet necessary.

These were very pretty and worked great...that was until they came apart at the starting point. In all fairness however, they could have had help. They were beautiful when I seen them, hence the five-star review...but after the grandchildren seen them, "something" happened :( Still a good product for the price :)

I like these as a light to go to sleep with. Warm light not too bright. I really like the timer function. Comes with a remote. Just set what time you want them to come on and they automatically turn off ( in 6 hours ) I have a few sets throughout my home around the ceiling. I've even used them on the Christmas Tree. Handy if the power goes out as well.

I think these lights are perfect for lighting the extra decorative areas. Just this past Easter i placed them in glass Easter eggs to make my table pop.

The lights were too small but usable, that's a me issue. The box that holds the batteries broke when I closed it and now I have to tape it shut. That's where the low stars are from.

Remote doesn't work so you can't turn on or off or set timer. Must set from the battery box going through each option to select the light pattern you want. Since you can't set timer, I have to go outdoors to turn them on and off manually. Wouldn't recommend.

The lights themselves are actually great, but of course, one of the strands did not work and it wasn't worth the time and effort to return it. The remote works great and the lights are great.

It is impossible to unwind the 30 feet of this very very very thin wire. Think, thin gold chain necklace that gets twisted and you need to use tweezers on. I bet a shorter length would work, but not this one. darn, had to return it. I spent 30 minutes on it but had to stop--life is short.

It wouldn't work at first. I had to jiggle the wire around to get it to come on. Also, the remote does not work at all. Which defeats the purpose of why I purchased. The lights were going to go outside in the garden, where the remote would be needed to turn on and off. **They are very hard to unravle without getting tangled up**
