This 3d doodler printing pen set is an incredible start for your little creative kiddos around you, it’s easy to use, it includes a booklet with 8 designs that you can make, set includes filaments , pen is rechargeable , so fun to make and everything is included in one great set, my daughter used it and created a butterfly and a dinosaur, I recommend.
This is amazing. I have never seen anything like this before. I love that you can create 3D Art with this pen .I can't wait to see my granddaughter create works of 3D Art.
Need to practice, but it is definitely a great item.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, I was 100% sure my son would love and play with this toy for 10 minutes then it would fall into the dark depth of the "forgotten realm" where all novelty things go to die alone. I was wrong. I gave the 3Doodler+ to him for Easter and it has been his go-to entertainment ever since. He even provided party tricks for the extended family at dinner by making them glasses and various animals. I've since purchases several filament replacement packs and there's no sign of stopping! The doodler is easy to use, even for small hands. It looks bulky, but it's small enough that even a younger child can easily control the flow of the filament. The unit itself doesn't get hot so you don't have to worry about burning, infact, it's cool enough you can build directly on your skin to make shapes and even jewelry. I love that this toy has become a favorite and I look forward to seeing all the creative things he can build with it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, the box says 6 and up. My 11 year old had a hard time figuring it out at first, so I definitely recommend this for an older child. Our daughter is very artistic so she was determined to learn it. My husband got involved and showed her how to really make things with the 3D Doodler. He made her the character in the photo! She nows loves playing and creating with it now!
This item was a gift for 6 year old. It generally works as described but to create things you need to have a lot of patience and skill. Better for an older kid as it's not easy to create items
I was super excited to try this 3-D pen. I figured it has to be super easy to use because it’s for 6 to 13 years old. I was very mistaken. I followed all the instructions and directions. I did like that it offered a booklet and it had a QR code for help as well as an app. But none of those tools made this any easier to use. I tried some of the simplest projects from the book to start and they didn’t go well. It comes out fast but it also comes out slow. So if you go too fast, you’re pulling it and it doesn’t lay nicely but if you go to slow, it punches up. You also go through those sticks very quickly. And the battery doesn’t last that long. I wasn’t even able to finish one project before my battery was dying.
This set seems really neat when you get it. Comes with the starter pen, plastic strands, and different activities you can do. The directions were a tad confusing to myself. I read them a few times and then tried to explain to my 6 year old. We understood how it worked but it was not easy to make anything. The pen works pretty well. You feed the plastic in and out as needed. The directions for the activities are awful. They basically just show you a picture and you’re expected to figure it out. My son and I got pretty frustrated. We have tried it a few different times. The idea of this is really neat. We even watched videos to see how others make things. I believe this is too complicated for a 6 year old and impatient people. My 13 year old tried this set and thought it was alright. The pen will send out the piece of plastic strand when done with that color but some of it remains in there so you won’t have your desired color until that piece is removed. The pen itself is pretty lightweight to hold for little hands. The plastic hardens quickly so you have to know what you’re making and be ready. I think maybe if the directions for the activities were a little more descriptive , this could be more fun. We took pictures of our attempted activities but my son said they were too embarrassing to share.
The item was defective and did not charge. When I tried to return it the only option was in-store and there is no Walmart store where I live. I reached out to Customer service twice who each time said they will refund but never followed through or sent any email confirmation. I am still out $60 for this junk. Very disappointed that they won't let me mail-in the return and won't refund for a defective item.
