Very happy with this. It polishes gelcoat very well, easy to use with a variable speed buffer. I followed with the Perfect-It light cutting / wax.

1974 fiberglass top on a vintage pop-up camper
Knowing that my camper top had more than 40 years of gelcoat oxidation, I presumed there would be few products that could handle the job. 3M's heavy cutting compound met my expectations. I used 3M's 100% wool cutting pad and a variable speed rotary polisher. I followed the standard operating procedure in the 3M video.

Works as it should
Used on a 25 yr old fiberglass boat that had been neglected. 1000 wet sand, 1500 wet sand, then cut to a beautiful shine.
