Very well built. No wobble or vibration. Tolerances on the arbor bearing are so good it is actually water tight. I bought two, have used them continuously for 20 hours in a wet fixture for polishing sectioned Permian fossils, and both polishers still run like the day I took them out of the box. I particularly appreciate the spare set of motor contact brushes that were also included - it speaks volumes about how the manufacturer views their product as a long lasting tool.

Polisher worked very well. Easy to use and did a good job on my old oxidized fiberglass sided motorhome. Also worked great on the cab of the truck. Range of RPM's is adjustable from 1000 to 3000.

Actually the speed is from 1000-3500. Great for buffing, polishing. Just used it on the Gel coat of a 1997 Donzi Classic. Beautiful job, ran at 1500 rpm using a polishing compound. Do order the 100% 7 inch hook and loop wool pad with it. The included synthetic pad is ok, but real wool, much better.

Works as intended. Good price for its performance. My use is personal for the purpose of polishing an old 1999 vehicle. It did the job as expected. User should consider buying bonnet or polishing pads adequate for their intended use. Walmart delivery was as indicated.

I've never used it on 3.5K RPM but it makes a terrible hiss testing that speed. 1K RPM seems to keep it running very hot which is unusual for a 10-amp polisher. The included bonnet is a poor choice.

Product keeps jumping around with the speed setting

***READ MY REVIEW FIRST*** Just received this item at my door. Opened the box and just to come find out that it does not have a trigger for speed control. If you know nothing about buffing your car know this. THIS IS A BUTTON ACTION VARIABLE SPEED ON TOP OF DEVICE. This is a good way to BURN YOUR PAINT. I just put it back in the box and returning to Walmart. I suggest the Dewalt. Good luck

I cannot emphasize enough, DO NOT BUY THIS!! That's my rating and that's my recommendation. Right out of the box the motor smells like its burning up, the included ""Woolen"" pad is the cheapest thing ever! I do not recommend putting this polisher on anything you value! The disc that came mounted on this thing is warped so it makes the el cheapo pad jump no matter what speed you use. I only gave one star to be sure my rating was posted, if I could give a negative star rating I would!
