Meguiar's Ultimate Compound, G17216, 15.2 oz

I had some scratches on my cars and thought I would try it out. Well it worked better than I expected. I have bragged about how well it worked on both of my cars.

I had pulled out of my garage at a bad angle %26 as the photos show, brushed against the door jam which transferred white paint onto the rear of my car. I attached the before %26 after. I was prepared for spending a few thousand dollars for some serious body work. This product was recommended %26 by following the directions it buffed out by hand in minutes. This couldn't have ended better. No body work or painting is needed.

Bought this in an emergency and It was great did the job! 10/10 would rec

had very sun damaged clear coat on hood and roof. picture shows first pass on right and before on left. while not show room finish, it is much better than it was. I would think it i clay barred it before, or did more passes or used wax after it would probably be better. now it is not an eyesore and looks ok

Order was fast

Took out light scratches and oxidation with way less effort than I expected. A little goes a long way and it left the finish smooth and ready for wax. Great results for the price.

Meguiar's Ultimate Compound (G17216) is a top-tier product for removing scratches, swirls, oxidation, and other imperfections from your vehicle's paint. In my experience, it's incredibly effective yet surprisingly gentle on the surface. The formula is smooth and easy to apply by hand or with a dual-action polisher, offering a noticeable improvement with minimal effort. It worked wonders on my car's paint, bringing back a deep, glossy shine that looked almost new again. The 15.2 oz. bottle is a good size for regular detailing sessions, and the product itself is not overly abrasive, meaning you won't risk damaging the clear coat when used correctly. It does leave behind some dust, but it's easy to wipe off with a microfiber cloth. I also appreciate that it's safe for all types of automotive paint finishes, which makes it a versatile choice for almost any vehicle. Overall, Meguiar's Ultimate Compound delivers impressive results, making it a solid investment for anyone looking to restore the shine and smoothness of their car's exterior.

I used this with a Harbor Freight Dual Action 6" polisher & pads (Lake Country 5.5 backing plate). With the orange cutting pad it has completely restored amazing shine & luster to my 15 year old oxidized Earl Scheib 1-stage enamel paint job. The only thing that could make this product better was if it could magically remove dents too. lol

Tried to remove oxidation on headlights. Did not work. Removed only 30% even after 4 applications. At 3/4th application, the improvement was barely noticeable. So thats the best it could do. I watched you tube video where this was shown as the winner amongg 8 other methods to remove. and this itself was no good. Have not tested any other car part. But if you are planning to buy for headlight, you will be disappinted given it is no cheap and others cosgt 1/4th of price

I don't have item! That was a stupid question. You asked if I got everything. I said No. You asked what item I didn't get, then you asked me how satisfied I was with an item I still don't have!
