Sea Foam SF16 Motor Treatment Automotive Additive, 16 oz

11/1/2025 As long the 16oz. bottle remains at the current price, unbeatable. More cost effective than the 20oz. I use it in an old RV. I got a check engine light for "left bank running lean" ? whatever that means. So I bought a buttload of this stuff, (75 gal. tank), cleaned the thottlebody with the SEAFOAM SS14 spray, replaced the MAP sensor and fuel filter. Ultimately I got the CE light to stay off (using a code reader from Harbor freight) and have been periodically running Seafoam ever since. Since the RV is only driven a couple thousand miles a year, the Seafoam also claims to be a fuel stabilizer while it is sitting between trips. I've considered using the MUCH CHEAPER SUPERTECH version, but my limited research tell me the SEAFOAM is probably safer.

Great product, I use it regularly as a fuel system cleaner and fuel stabilizer. Old timers tell me it is the "go-to" product for automotive maintenance.

This was my first use of this product. I used it on my snowblower because the engine was spitting a bit, so I assumed it was a dirty carb. After following the instructions on the can and YouTube, the snowblower now runs smoothly. I'm going to use it again at the end of the season just before I store it. Great product at a great price.

Love this stuff. I use it periodically in every engine I own in every way it can be used. It works great and Is simple to use. I use it every couple fill ups and every couple oil changes i will add some to the crankcase oil to clean out any sludge in the oil. Also suck some up the vacuum line to clean the top end of the motor and then turn car off for 15 min and then go drive it like I stole it. Smokes like a freight train for a min but clears up and runs like new. Car has close to 200k miles and I drive it hard but this stuff has helped keep my engine in great shape mechanically.

I had a small rough idle while sitting at a red light. I put seafoam in my gas tank when I filled my tank up with gas. The rough idle went away for about 1,000 miles, now it's back. I'll use a higher octane rating fuel to see if that will smooth it out, and if not, I'll buy another can of seafoam and put it in to see if two cans will help it for good.

Sea Foam is not just good, it is a necessity for cars using play gas, gas with corn oil. Ethanol gas loves water and is bad for your engine. So use Sea Foam or your choice of something to keep water in your ethanol gas down. This will help your engine and your gas tank. Just follow directions on the container. Take this from someone who has recently cleaned one gas tank and replaced the other.

Personally I do not use the product. But my husband swears by it. He uses it in all of our off road desert riding vehicles and generators. It cleans up the engines, gas and oil. It is important to keep the engines running smoothly while having fun off roading and camping. We use it every time we fill up with gas tanks.

this stuff is Seafoam is really good when you want to put up your lawn mowers and stuff that you're not going to use for the winter so that way it doesn't clog up your gas tubes and all my husband swears by it we put it in our trucks and our four wheelers anything that runs it's a little expensive but it's better to put it in everything instead of having big expensive auto repair bills

Its the best for check engine light due to “3rd cylinder misfire “ per my mechanic. So we dumped a can in a full tank of gas. It was running rough besides engine light on. Be aware that it will smoke! When 3/4 of gas was gone engine light shut off and runs better than in years!
