3M All Purpose Sanding Sponge, 3.75 in. x 2.625 in. x 1 in., Medium/Coarse Grit, 1/Pack

This is the second 3M sanding sponge I have purchased for light sanding on craft pojects. I needed a courser grit. Both the fine and course grit sponges have worked well and are easy to use. I will definitely buy more.

This worked exactly how i needed it to, and after using it on my entire living room floor it is still just as good as it was when it arrived. It's also really good for such a reasonable price.

The 3M- All purpose Sanding sponge, is a great tool to use on small repair projects; requiring a smooth finished surface. Buffing out rough spots on the wall or ceiling, can be done quick and easily with this sanding sponge. I recommend it.

i used these sanding sponge to quick sand my gang box, before painting it. one sanding block did the whole gang box !! i thought it would take several .. worked better than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using this style for your sanding is a lot more economical. With paper it rips and get dull really fast. With this sponge sanding it seems not to end. I did entire dresser with 4 drawers and never had to get a new one. Plus the quality of the sanding didn't change. With it being so easy to grip it won't slip out your hand and you can apply more pressure if needed while sanding.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The advantage I discovered with this sponge is that it is simple to grip and fits comfortably in your hand. This might work for simpler DIY projects, but it wasn't up to the challenge at hand for me. The sanding dots were breaking and the sponge was disintegrating. I believe my project was a little too much for this sponge. I was working with driftwood and required a second sponge before I could finish my project. This didn't seem to work for me in the way that I needed it to. 3M is a terrific brand with great products, so it's possible I just got a bad sponge, but I'm sticking with sandpaper for now.

For a relatively expensive item the first sponge I used - coarse on a slightly curved piece of driftwood - deteriorated to useless in less than 10 minutes. So during if I ha e missed something I have looked for instructions to no avail. I will return the sponges I haven't used yet.
