3M Leather and Vinyl Repair Kit

I used this product in the past and the repairs lasted for a couple years. The leftover product dried up, so I purchased a new kit. The jar of green colorant had opened in the package and made a bit of a mess, however, I didn't need that color and it didn't affect the adhesive or the colorant I did need.....it just made a mess, so I docked the review a star. I wasn't able to create an exact match to the color and texture of the seat I was repairing, but it was close enough for me. The repair did stop the tears from continuing to grow.

This was a mistake to order. Considerably complicated when what I really needed was a simple stick on. Immediately intimidated by opening the box

No delivery- cannot rate what you did not receive. Poor service paying for a plus membership without advantages. Availability awful but price of product okay.

my only complaint is that the delivery fees caused me to pay three times the amount of the product itself.

I have not received the product. I expect that the quality will be good, but I don't know yet. Most of this survey is not relevant to my order and my experience.

I bought this to fix a cut in the Navy Beige leather seats of my 2022 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy. Since the Calligraphy has that nice light interior I was honestly stressed about making it look worse with a bad color match. The coolest part was how I figured out the color. I took a picture of the different shades in the kit next to my seat and put it into an AI. I asked it exactly how to mix them to get the right shade and the advice was completely spot on. The beige blended in so well you can barely tell where the cut was. It fills the spot smoothly without leaving a weird shiny or rough patch on the leather. The dealership and local repair shops wanted crazy money to fix this so this kit saved me a ton of cash. It does take some patience to mix it up and apply it but using AI to get the color ratio eliminated all the guesswork. If you have the light beige interior and are worried about ruining it just use AI to help you mix the colors. It works great.

Had a 3/4" cut in a motorcycle seat. Used the kit to reinforce under the vinyl and then glue it back together. Then filled with the color mix and grain paper. I did not have high hopes but figured it would at least keep it from tearing from the cut. I was very surprised at the finish. The texture is slightly off but you have to know it was there and really look for it to see where it was. The color was black so matching was easy.

The thought was nice, but you could get a similar effect from putting a piece of tape of the same color on the fabric. It looks worse than if I just left it there and put some clear packing tape on it. It looks bad. I should have left it to professionals.

the main color i needed was black and it was missing from the package so it was a waste of my money

I did not receive this product and the delivery photo is not my home.
