Airhead Transparent Tear-Aid Type B Vinyl Repair Patch Kit

Perfect product to repair tears on inflatables. We bought this bounce house for my kids at a yard sale which unfortunately had a tear & they weren’t able to use it. Airhead tear-aid patch was easy to use and repaired the tear instantly. Affordable product with easy instructions, my kids now get to enjoy their bounce house and we get to save ourselves some money.

I received the Tear Air Repair Kit and liked that it comes with everything needed for a quick repair, including clear patches, alcohol pads, instructions, and reinforcement filament. The Kit is compact and easy to store. The patches feel flexible and strong which is important for vinyl Inflatables because the materials need to move without peeling. The instructions are clear and looks easy. This is very useful product to keep on hands for pool toys, air matrasses, Inflatable toys, towables, or Inflatable boats.

AIRHEAD tear-aid is an essential tool that is a must have. These vinyl repair patches work well. I used it on my air mattress when I had family over and there was small tear and it has held up amazingly. I like how easy it is to apply and the instructions are easy to follow and understand. I also like that it’s not too thin of a patch, it’s the right thickness.

The product actually works. I used this product on a Queen size inflatable bed. I have tried multiple options in the past and this one works. It is extremely sticky so follow direction to apply. Enough product included to patch multiple small holes or a large one.

These will definitely be added to my camping collection. This pack gives you all different sizes for your ripped inflatable. Sticks very well to the inflatable. I’ve been using the same tube for a little over a month now. It definitely holds up.

The vinyl adhesive is thick. I wished the biggest repair piece would be bigger or maybe have medium sizes, since there was only 3 sizes, large about 8”, small 1”, and x small about 1/2.” I don’t believe the value of the patches are worth the retail price, maybe if it had more and more sizes. I was barely able to patch both sides of the toy based on the instructions to leave an inch of overlap.

I received this Airhead tear aid repair kit free from Influenster for my honest review. We have a few items around the house that this tear aid repair kit would come in handy. We have air mattresses, an inner tubes and rafts and once any of them get a hole the repair patch that comes with them never really holds but this tear aid repair kit was easy to use, has held up nicely and feels fairly durable. Everything you need is in the box. The patches already have adhesive on them so you do not have to worry about applying glue or wait for it to dry. The adhesive felt strong and adhered to my air mattress easily. Overall this is definitely a good kit to have on hand and around the house. You get several sizes of patches plus you can cut it down to for your needs. The patches feel fairly thick and durable plus you can use it on several different items as well. It is a versatile patch/repair kit.

[Incentivized] These vinyl patches come in very handy when you need to repair an inflatable quickly. These patches adhere very well to other vinyl products, however the full cure time is 24 hours which is a lot longer than your traditional vinyl/cement patches. It's nice that it comes with one big patch that you can use for a large tear or it can be cut in small pieces for small repairs. Overall I'm happy with the product.

I had a tear in the side of my air mattress and was told this was the best thing to use. Attempted to use as directed and it did not patch the way it was supposed to. Had to throw away an air mattress, but again it didn't work for what I needed it for.

Bought to repair hole in SUP (paddle board) it did not even hold a couple psi for the record. I followed directions to the T. Was hopeful, but it did not work.
