Airhead Transparent Tear-Aid Type B Vinyl Repair Patch Kit

This Airhead tear aid kit works wonders with my vinyl pool rip! This kit comes with clear, 3” X 12” patch, 7/8” X 7/8” patch, 1-3/8” X 1-3/8” and 12” reinforcement filament for rough edges. You can cut these patches to any size that you need which is fantastic. Alcohol prep pads are included to clean and dry the area before hand. The instructions are step-by-step and easily read. The material and packaging is of great quality. I had a 3” rip in my above ground vinyl pool and so far it's airtight and waterproof. I have had no leaks or issues of any kind. Easy instant adhesion conformed to my vinyl with no extra effort. I would definitely recommend this product for above ground pools, floats, tents, boats, and so much more. I love there was no messy liquids or glues involved. This repair kit made my pool hold water again and I am happy with this product. My kids will be so happy when they come home and are able to swim in the pool again!

Honestly wasn't sure it would work for my needs but it did a great job in patching a small tear in a floaty. The instructions were easy to follow and it worked out great. You can see in the images how the floaty was flat because of the tear in the corner. But after patching it with this Airhead tape, it sealed it completely. Hopefully the seal will last after it gets wet a few times. Only time will tell but so far so good.

AIRHEAD tear-aid is an essential tool that is a must have. These vinyl repair patches work well. I used it on my air mattress when I had family over and there was small tear and it has held up amazingly. I like how easy it is to apply and the instructions are easy to follow and understand. I also like that it's not too thin of a patch, it's the right thickness.

The product actually works. I used this product on a Queen size inflatable bed. I have tried multiple options in the past and this one works. It is extremely sticky so follow direction to apply. Enough product included to patch multiple small holes or a large one.

So I have attempted to save a floatie that was made useless by one tiny hole with tape, glue and other adhesives to no avail. With Tear-Aid, it actually worked! Super easy straight out the box. Since the hole was tiny I used one of the precut squares. It was already cut and corners rounded (to prevent a corner lifting) so I just smoothed it out over the hole careful to not make air bubbles and voila! No more tossing out expensive vinyl pool floaties.

[Incentivized] These vinyl patches come in very handy when you need to repair an inflatable quickly. These patches adhere very well to other vinyl products, however the full cure time is 24 hours which is a lot longer than your traditional vinyl/cement patches. It's nice that it comes with one big patch that you can use for a large tear or it can be cut in small pieces for small repairs. Overall I'm happy with the product.

The vinyl adhesive is thick. I wished the biggest repair piece would be bigger or maybe have medium sizes, since there was only 3 sizes, large about 8”, small 1”, and x small about 1/2.” I don't believe the value of the patches are worth the retail price, maybe if it had more and more sizes. I was barely able to patch both sides of the toy based on the instructions to leave an inch of overlap.

Very durable repair patches. They work very well and are extremely sticky. They are transparent so the repair is not even noticeable. The packing is very vivid bright yellow which really intrigues me.. instructions are super easy to follow which is a big plus. These are very handy

I had a tear in the side of my air mattress and was told this was the best thing to use. Attempted to use as directed and it did not patch the way it was supposed to. Had to throw away an air mattress, but again it didn't work for what I needed it for.

Bought to repair hole in SUP (paddle board) it did not even hold a couple psi for the record. I followed directions to the T. Was hopeful, but it did not work.
