I love these rubber bands. Yes, they are large, but that is the beauty of them…they fit perfectly around different shaped kitchen/bathroom trash cans. I currently have an “auto-open” half moon shape kitchen, 13 gal. trash can. The 13 gal. bags fit loosely b/c of the half-moon shape, so food/garbage weighs down the bag, and *well before* the can is full, the bag is already off the rim and starting the slow slide down inside the can. THESE RUBBER BANDS PREVENT THAT! I like them so much, I bought 2 sets. My first set finally wore out —after a couple of years of use. I bought the second one, in case they stop making them after the ones I just bought wear out. I highly recommend these!
Theses bands were sò easy to use. Just what. We needed that garbage bag doesn't fly into the bottom of the can anymore and the cleanup is so much easier love what we've done to the garbage can
These bands really work! I was having difficulty with garbage liners fitting my kitchen garbage can, but these grippers were a cheap, quick fix!
Great little project for different size trash cans.
Dies the job they were made to do!
works great %26 reasonably priced.
I like these. This is my second purchase of the grabbers. They have never broken, they are easy to stretch over the edge of the garbage/recycle/compost bin/can/basket, and they do keep the bag/liner in place. A package has 3 of various sizes. Great. My only reservation is the cost. They are in fact very large, flat, rubber bands. Book binder or folder rubber bands. The flat ones. However, buying the record keeping version is even more expensive...for rubber bands. Why the second purchase? Because invariably, despite forewarnings, helpful people throw them away when taking out the refuse. Sigh. Will I buy them again? You bet, because I know Walmart carries them, they are the right thing, and they work well. I pay for the convenience, and in the last decade, pay more for inflation/tariffs/greed. Please don't gouge, it really just decreases the customer base, eventually putting the manufacturer out of business If you want a cheaper option, buy a bag of high latex/rubber, extra large rubber bands.
I would have preferred that all three bands were the same larger size so now I have two small sizes I don't need but that's my fault for not reading the package first
This is a great concept - using elastic bands to hold trash bags to the cans. They work very well in that regard, are easy to install, and seem to be strong. The problem, however, is the color. White elastic bands are nearly invisible against a white trash bag. My daughter tossed a bag, with the elastic band, not knowing the band was being used. Therefore, I do not recommend this product. The manufacturer would do better by changing the band color to something brighter and more contrasting against a white background.
I've used other big rubber bands for trash cans and garbage disposal bags. This are way too loose. Don't hold, at least not in the trash compactor. I think the others I've used in the past, perhaps called "big blue" held much better. I would not recommend these.
