I am reviewing this item as “two customers “… one as a regular guy, the other as a “one-handed “ guy—- but you should consider this item mostly because you are ambidextrous, like most people, and your way of using this will suffice! I like this based on the QUALITY of the materials: it's a metal alloy, that's electroplated in shiny silver color. It's plated consistently, and that's why I think it's HIGH-QUALITY. But notice the SIZE of it. I didn't think about the actual size, I usually find these things functionally sound for its compactness. BUT! Since I only have one hand to hold and use, the SMALLER SIZE makes me aware of the LOSING GRIP on it— and then I would be actually quite “helpless”…. and I can imagine that happening EASILY because of its smaller size! Also, because of its smaller “grip” area, it seems easier to find it accidentally NOT gripping the clasp completely—-,again, the object falls down, onto the ground… where I am helpless. Other than THOSE apparent obstacles, the clasp is SOLID like I wanted it to be…. It's just harder to get a “proper GRIP” on it, therefore I have to be EXTRA CAREFUL using this! I do like that this was sold in a “4 clasps” to a set— and highly affordable! So for most everyone, you will find this HANDY to use!
