Use this not a screwdriver!
If you ever tried to open up a 5 gallon bucket by hand, it's hard! and don't use the screwdriver because you'll just ruin the bucket. this opener is a must if you ever want to get your stuff out of your 5 gallon bucket without breaking your nails! it's easy to use and it's very inexpensive.

Just got it and used it today. Great tool to open paint buckets. I always carry this tool when I drop off old oil and the price is affordable.

Great little tool.
Wow, what a very handy little device. If you've ever tried to pry off the cover of a 5 gal bucket using your fingers then you're aware of how painful an experience that can be. This opener clips onto the lip of the lid and all you have to do is use a little leverage to get that section of the lid to pop open. I would have given 5 stars to this item if had been a bit more robust. I fear if the wrong end is used to lever open the bucket that it could snap. Other than that it's a great tool and makes opening the 5 gal buckets a breeze!
