I LOVE IT, That I can Actually Order a 50 count of the 20oz. Dixie Paper Bowls, -whereas in the grocery stores, you can only purchase the 20-something count, for pretty close to the same price, almost! I don’t know why you don’t carry these at the Walmart stores to be able to purchase, -but in any case, you just can’t… They can only be purchased by ordering them online.
I purchased these with the intentions to make warm-ups easy and quick. The 20 oz bowls are big enough for a salad, bowl of cereal or for holding salty/sweet snacks😋. Very sturdy with no leaks or weakness.. I will buy the smaller size for dipping and other things too.
I have teenagers and no dishwasher, and I CANNOT keep up with all the dishes. Especially in the summer when school is out. My oldest will not help wash dishes, because as he says "they're dirty and gross" and my youngest drops and breaks everything. These are a godsend, strong and not expensive.
The bowl was very strong and roomy. I purchased the bowls so desserts could be eaten with out coming out of containers. They were very sturdy even with some of the food being liquid in texture. I would highly recommend the bowls because the quality is good and also they look festive.
These are not only great for picnics or parties but whenever you need something to microwave in the oven. I have used it for soup and oatmeal and with no problems at all, but make sure to use a cover as some things tend to splatter in the microwave. Great price and these are tough bowls and at 20 oz you can use them for many different things.
These compostable bowls are not for cooking in the microwave. They say safe but you’ll have to use at least three to cook anything. They will collapse. So if these are the only ones available we cook with them and carefully pour the contents into the bowl underneath it. I would not recommend these compostable Dixie bowls.
Dixie is the only brand I trust for hot food. I’ve tried other brands, and they just don’t hold up the same. I’ve used bowls, plates etc. from other brands and they fold or collapse and even spill my food, but these stay sturdy and reliable. If you’re serving hot meals and don’t want to worry about leaks or messes, these are definitely worth it.
Brand recognition is the original reason for my purchasing but after years of using it the reason shifted to performance and design. It does what it is designed functionally and appealingly to do. Until it hits a level too far outside my price point I buy it because it ensures safety of food serving, reduction of extra work to wash and clean glass containers and reduction in loss of dishware when handing out a meal portion to visitors that may break or take them home and forget to return them.
I just purchased these bowls yesterday. Today I served hot soup, and they immediately began leaking from the bottom. Upon inspecting the remaining bowls, I found that all of them have tears in the center. These bowls are clearly defective and pose a serious safety risk, as someone could easily be burned when using them. I have attached a photo for reference.
I haven't senior citizen and it's hard for me to see and I didn't realize you substituted bowls for the PLATES that I wanted I cannot believe that you substituted it for bowls if it was different PLATES I would have said okay but I couldn't really see good what it was that you were substituting So now I got bowls that I didn't want I wanted paper PLATES
