I purchased these to use for a craft at our Girl Scout meeting. First of all, it was a ton of gems for a very low price, so that was great. We had way more than we needed. The gems are all stuck together; they peel off in a line, and it takes a little bit to pull them apart so that they are individual gems. There was only one occasion (to my knowledge) that the adhesive pulled off a gem and that gem became useless. The rest of the gems stuck great to paper. The girls also went a little crazy and stuck the extra gems all over their faces, so also sticks great to skin. Overall very happy with the purchase, would recommend, and woul buy again in the future
