Great tasting chips I would definitely buy again a little different than other versions of the same flavors, but thats what makes them unique. Get yourself a bag.
I like the taste and the fact that they are crispy, but the price is high for the volume you get. My wife likes the taste and is not bothered by the heavy salt or what I perceive as a little too much oil. I actually wipe salt off, same with Lays, and then I think this chip is very good. But the cost is much higher.
I like kettle chips cause they are thicker and crunchier then regular chips. I liked Lay's brand cause to me you get a real potato flavor in the chips. When I bought Lay's Original Sea Salt Kettle Cooked Potato Chips, to me they are not as salty as they used to be. To me it had just a hint of salt but they definitely have the crunch I like. That was why I gave the 4 star instead of 5 cause to me it just needed a bit more salt.
If you love extra crunchy snacks these Kettle Cooked Potato Chips are an absolute must. The thicker batch cooked cut means they hold up beautifully in lunchboxes without getting completely crushed into crumbs. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they taste significantly less salty and oily than traditional thin potato chips. It is easily my favorite go to salty snack.
We like Lay's chips, but these kettle chips disappointed. First off, the chips (some, not all) were a little too thick and hard to bite down on. Secondly, some of the chips tasted like they were caked with sea salt, making for a very salty and unpleasant experience. It's just a matter of consistency. Not all bags are the same, but this wasn't the best bag. We ended up throwing them away. We like Lay's, but was disappointed this time.
Lays Kettle Chips has another flavor....Original Kettle Chips. Appears that it's one of the flavors that got discontinued. I thought these might be the next best thing. These lack the same flavor and sometimes are salty and sometimes not. I wish they would bring back the one I fell in love with....Although maybe its a good thing as I was truly addicted to them!
Poor quality kettl e chips. They were too hard on the edges where they kept the skin on when frying. Other wise the grease and salt made them hard to swallow. Oh, do not get me start d about the razor blade sharpness that tore into my mouth when first chewing.
These were a substitution for the kettle chips I wanted. These are terrible. 1. They are just crumbs; no actual big chips! 2. They are a tiny bit crunchier then regularly lays potato chips. But not kettle chips. It's like they took the crappiest lays potato chips and put them all in a bag and then crush them. LOL Pic is of the chips/crumbs in a small 2 cup size bowl
Much too salty. Could not eat. Had to toss.
I ordered salt and vinegar and they delivered plain chips. Could have replaced with pink Himalayan salt instead of these. I ate some and threw the rest away.
