It is a good filter for someone who has that type of filtration system. I bought my tank from Walmart, a 5-gallon tank. The recommendation for that tank was this filter, but it's not the correct one. I have a vibrant life tank, but my filtration system takes the 2-3.5-gallon cotton filters. I don't understand how I could have a 5-gallon tank, but it takes the 2-3.5-gallon filters. Nevertheless, I ordered the correct ones. They are good filters, and so are the ones I ordered. Also, how come there are never any of the filters in the store for purchase? That is really my only complaint is that they are never in the store.

These filters are the ones I always buy and recommend! They keep my 10 gallon aquarium water very clean and oxygen rich. I change mine once a month and they work great!

Received everything . Filled the tank it started leaking from the calk. This maybe a defective tank,would not order again

This is for my quarantine tank, I use it for sick fish, I use it to medicate fish then keep them in it for at least 2 weeks after so I change these filters out more often, 2 weeks no charcoal 2 weeks with charcoal.
