The black gravel with assorted colors mixed in is stunning... I love it! The entire online transaction was easy. Delivery was on time with about 10 minutes to spare. I highly recommend this product! I just have to complete the aquarium setup and filtering, before adding my fish. Love it!

I like the name of the aquarium gravel, I always rinse my gravel before putting it in the aquarium we had a ten gallon tank we put five bags in the aquarium to have a lot of extra gravel to make it pretty.

The Black Lagoon Aquarium Gravel is actually pretty. It has a sprinkle of bright colored rocks, like yellow, pink, green... I will rinse them off before setting up in the aquarium. Very nice, would recommend for someone aquarium.

Love the pop of color it adds to my tank. Note to self 5lbs is not very much, get the big bag. You'll thank me later!

While i do like this gravel a lot and have found the price here the most reasonable, it isn't worth the HASSLE to try and order it inlets you just need ONE bag. I just got into the hobby. Got my 1st tank, just a 10 gal and had other substrate so while 2, maybe even 3 would have been ideal it was fine w my other black gravel. Fast Forward to a new and bigger tank as a xmas gift, DAYS b4 xmas, ADS all over saying WALMART IS HERE, even influencers so busy promoting the 1 hour delivery they don't even realize they're LYING in the commercials when they say they "bought a cologne" for their bf "last minute, " while holding up a woman's PERFUME they clearly got for themselves. Point is they're SUPPOSEDLY there for us to get those last min gifts so since this gravel is offered in 1, 2, 3 and 4 packs, free shipping w my PAID plus account, i ordered the 2 pack bag as a quick little cpl more gifts to go with the tank - CANCELED because its FLAGGED. I go back and order ONE bag cuz there's no reason for my account to ever get flagged. It goes through. If u in the hobby u know 1 5lb bag is NOT gonna be enough for a 20 gallon tank never mind even bigger. I need more than 2 but JUST TRYING TO GET 2. So, since ONE bag went thru i went back to try and order ONE bag again. CANCELED again. I'm trying to get ready for work, trying to get these last minute gifts and WALMART IS NOT MAKING IT EASY. ACTUALLY, flat out REFUSING to send what i order. I call customer service, 1ST LADY starts speaking in another language - then nothing at all for almost a minute, then "hello"... can you hear me..I NEED TO BE AT WORK...i don't got time for this. I hang up and call again. The 2nd person just tells me, yea, it's the holiday season, its AI, it's automated and happens. Try again in an hour. Seriously? THAT'S IT. I FIGURED THAT myself but maybe HELP ME get that second bag, ITS XMAS TIME. GEEZ. BEST OFF PAYING THE CPL BUCKS MORE ON AMAZON. And if you really don't even care what the gravel looks like, well you can get a 50 lb bag of pool filter or all purpose sand at just about any hardware store for under $20, some even under $10 and DEFINITELY have ENOUGH substrate for a bigger tank and its more natural too. Just wash it good. I'm NOT happy w my experiences here whether it's just trying to place a simple order, the shipping method used (on trac is HORRIBLE) OR EVEN their custumer service not being professional, easy to understand . Be nice to get off the phone one time feeling they actually CARED about my inconvenience vs just saying, welp, sorry for your inconvenience but it happens. Moral - ONLY BUY HERE if ur getting just 1 bag, don't mind ordering each bag separately hours apart or got no life she all the time in the world to play w their system and get what you actually order, when it's actually promised and HOW its supposed to be. The 3 stars is only for the actual gravel. I took away 1 for customer service and 1 for order experience

I love the size and color however the paint immediately began flaking off in the water and no amount of rinsing is enough and so these arent going to be safe for all types of fish etc who feed off the bottom etc

I ordered several 5lbs bags of gravel listed for $6.80. One of them I was charged $6.80. The other bag said on the receipt that it was $6.80 per pound. ?????? I didn't see that on the website. It is a 5 lb bag. How are you going to list selling by the pound. I think this is some shady and deceptive practices performed by Walmart. This is not the 1st I've had a shady experience with Walmart. Needless to say, I will return the bag and obtain a refund.

The gravel is fine. My problem is that they sent it from across the country instead of the store 6 miles away. There were many bags sitting on the shelf.
