I got this for my 11 year old daughter for Christmas. She loved it! She has made beads with all kinds of paper. She has made necklaces and bracelets for herself, our family, and her friends. The implement itself is actually pretty small, especially for the size of the box, but it works! We also got to have a quick little conversation about reusing materials.

You can make beads with plastic bottles, aluminum from soda cans as well as different types of paper.

Looking for a fun project, here it is! You can design your own beads, make them put of any paper, labels, stuffing paper, craft paper, any holiday paper, go fantasy, have fun!!!

I saved about $13 by purchasing this item thru Walmart. The bead roller is made well and works perfectly as designed. However, the box picture leads one to believe that once the bead is rolled, it drops into the container. This does not happen. Also, the machine will probably only fit into a 2-liter bottle. It does attach to a base part, but it doesn't fit well on a water or milk bottle. I do recommend though fir easy bead rolling.

Works as intended. Paper that comes with it is not the highest quality. Doesn't seem like it'll last super long, but my daughter is enjoying it.

The ideas is good but the paper is hard to get it to start to roll. It slips off easily. And the hole is an oval shape not around.

It's made of plastic and the clamp doesn't hold the paper tight enough so the beads keep getting messed up. Mine broke after 2 days

First - this is a VERY small little "toy" bead roller. I expected it to be small - but I did not expect it to be so limited and so truly useless as a bead roller. I would NOT give this to a kid or an adult as they will be so frustrated trying to roll and keep the thing steady that they will give up well before they have any fun beads. You can buy $10 sets of actual professional bead rollers that are MUCH easier to use. I purchased this to see if it would be faster than my hand bead rollers. It is not. The only paper this accommodates will be the flimsiest of paper. A kid would play with this 5-10 minutes and discard it. An adult might persevere - but really no reason to. Save your money and just buy a true paper bead roller that will be easier to use, sturdier, and produced much nicer beads. In the images I show the tool itself and behind it is some of the included papers, the one with three beads shows the output from the roller, and the single bead is one I rolled using my hand-held roller that cost less than $10 for multiple size rollers. Look closely at the output from the roller and you can see it is uneven on the longer beads. The interior of the beads is so small that the only thing you can do with them is string them on very narrow string. The hand roller has a much larger opening that can even let a jewelry chain slide through. You can use eyelets on the ends to give them a finished look. No such luck with the plastic tool. Disappointing and a waste of money - especially for kids who would have far less patience.
